Formerly a celebrity owned estate, experience a luxurious Spanish Villa tucked in the Hollywood Hills with designer touches, Viking Chef's kitchen, curated art work, grand chandeliers, and manicured landscaping. This is a short-term rental property only. No Tenants rights apply. You must check-out on the date your contract finishes.

HOUSE RULES:

It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA Home Sharing Dept. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.

* Minimum age to book is 30 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.

* Check-in is after 4 PM. We greet all our Guests.

* Check out is at 11 AM

MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS - 8 (includes infants and children under 2 yrs age)

The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $200 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.

NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine and the cost to eliminate residual odors.

NO PETS

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact headcounts of your guests at all times. All outside visitors must be pre-approved.

A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.

NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS

Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $1000 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.

NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.

* You will provide the Full Names and Ages of all your guests

* In the event of an emergency to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, we reserve the right to enter the property.

NO FILMING/PHOTOSHOOTS - must require prior approval contact Lilly Zabat at iTrip or contact the LillyPad Group @lillypadgroup

In order to maintain the property we have our gardeners servicing the property. Please note that sometimes we may on rare occasions need to adjust the days of service due to weather/rain or other unexpected events.

Upon Check-Out inspection you agree to pay for any damages or extra Cleaning Fees if home is trashed due to illegal parties, trash not picked up in the bedrooms or outdoor spaces.

Secluded Casa Near it All!

Casa escalera exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully decorated w art and unique furnishings. Beds were super comfy. We took full use of the chef's kitchen and enjoyed the multiple sitting areas both inside and out. The home feels secluded and far away from it all, but 7 minutes from hollywood- los filez- griffith, and a nice challenging walk to beachwood eatery. Itrip's communication is 5☆ as well as their accomodating service. Tyty. We hope to return!

A week at Casa Escalera

Casa Escalera served as home base for our family for a week's worth of exploring LA's sights, attractions and beauty. Due to LA's traffic, location was a key care about for our stay and Casa Escalera was perfect for that. It was a short trip to the Hollywood sign, Griffith park and observatory, the Greek, Hollywood bowl, Hollywood blvd and Chinese Theater, Universal studios, Warner Brothers Studios, Paramount Studios, The Grove. The house itself is nestled in the Hollywood Hills in the same canyon as the Hollywood Sign. Houses in the neighborhood can be packed rather tightly together, but the extensive landscaping at the house provided isolation and a feeling of an exotic getaway. The kitchen appliances were top notch and the house was very well stocked with utensils, cookware, spices in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathrooms. They even had beach towels, a cooler and umbrella for a day at the beach. Our family really enjoyed our stay at the house and we would not hesitate to reserve it again or recommend it to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. So close to attractions yet the property is so peaceful and quiet, it’s hard to believe you’re in a huge city. The check in procedures were easy, and the home is very well stocked with everything you need for a perfect vacation!

Truly fabulous house

I stayed with my family at Casa Escalera for four nights this past February, we were looking at a few universities in the area and showing 2 of my teenagers a little bit of life in the Hollywood/Los Angeles area. The house is in a great neighborhood, located very close to hiking trails, very peaceful. The outdoor gardens and numerous courtyards (and the hummingbirds) were hard to leave each morning to set out on tours . The house itself is full of charm and is meticulously maintained (and I'm a person who literally focuses on thread count and kitchen appliances not just location when choosing a vacation house). The kitchen in particular is amazing and has views for miles with doors opening to the courtyards. I shared many photos with our friends back in NYC and will absolutely return if we are heading back to the area.

Great house!

My family spent Christmas week at this lovely home in LA. We were so impressed with the house. It is exactly as it appears in the photos - lovely rooms and a great layout. Every appliance was in good working order and the house was clean. The kitchen has everything you need to create and serve a feast! Since we had amazing weather we took advantage of the patios and ate outside several times. We appreciated the Christmas decorations....poinsettias both inside and out, and the tree with lites and bulbs in front of the house. The landscaping and outdoor lightening are amazing and the fruit from the lemon and tangerine trees was delicious. There was easy parking and the neighbors were quiet but friendly. It was a pleasure to work with Lily and Daniel. We look forward to renting thru them in the future.

Our experience at this house was 100 percent positive. The house is beautiful and in a tremendous location. All amenities and appliances were top quality. Everything was as depicted in the photos -- no surprises. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or requests. It is an extremely nice property in a fabulous neighborhood. Plenty of off-street parking which was a big help. All elegant and lovely. We would happily stay here again on our next trip.

Lovely Stay in the Hollywood Hills

Family of 6 stayed at Casa Escalera over Thanksgiving week and everyone loved the accomodations. The house and grounds are beautiful and comfortable. Easy to walk to hikes around the resevoir and up to the Hollywood Sign. Griifith Park not far nor is access to quintessential LA sites. Highly recommend!

Our family loved everything about the house. It was well stocked and very comfortable. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. The location of the house was perfect and there was PLENTY to do in the immediate vicinity. The information and assistance provided by iTrip and their staff was impeccable. Lovely Home!

We really loved our stay at Casa Escalera! We stayed here with our 5 kids, and the home was large enough for all of us to have our own spaces The home was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and our host was very helpful throughout our stay. The house is centrally located to all the local attractions, yet it is on a safe and quiet street and neighborhood. Above all, we loved the outdoor areas which felt like Mediterranean verandas and a private oasis away from the busy city. We had a wonderful breakfast outside every morning and would often sit outside in the evenings with a drink and a book. It felt so homey and cozy that we did not want to leave! Highly recommend fto anyone looking for a quaint and quiet getaway that is still close to all the LA tourist sites.

A wonderful stay at Casa Escaleras

Three generations of our family stayed here and loved it. Beautiful wood floors and doors throughout the house, comfortable furnishings, top-of-the-line appliances, several outdoor gathering spots around the house, and a management company that was very responsive to questions made this the perfect home away from home. My wife called it a house of luxury and comfort and impeccably maintained beautiful gardens. The younger generation was represented by a grandson who, a few minutes after arriving, told us "This is the best house I've ever been in."

Beyond my expectations

The ‘casa de escaleras’ was beyond my expectations in all aspects. The pictures do not do it justice, everything is top-notch, fully operational, we have access to all amenities in the house, full kitchen, all TVs, full house music system, garage, and even a real fireplace. We were supplied with everything we needed, coffee, tea, soaps, towels, and Lilly and her partner were even waiting for us at the house to show us how everything worked, and to welcome us with a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and a box of popcorn ! And if we had any question during our stay, we would get answers within minutes. If I could give six stars instead of five, I would !
