NO PARTIES/LOUD NOISE TOLERATED

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Wonderful time in Steamboat
5/5 stars
The folks at iTrip are amazing. Great communicators and really care about your vacation experience. The house is in a great location and access to trails and downtown Steamboat. Very clean and loved the beds.
- Leah
Great house if you have pets. And, the beds were SO comfortable!
5/5 stars
We rented this house because we brought 2 dogs. It was very comfortable, great location, and having the yard was great. I do wish the AC wall units were in the bedrooms because the first night or two were a little hot, even though we had the ACs running in the other rooms. But, the beds were the best beds I've ever slept on. Amazing memory foam mattress toppers.

Excellent stay
5/5 stars
Quiet enough to be away from busy areas but close enough to ski resorts and downtown. The house itself is very homey and beds are comfortable. The unit is pet friendly and very close to a dog run.

Steamboat Whistler Lodge
5/5 stars
We found the house very clean when we arrived. No issues with information about arrival so thanks for making that very easy. Driveway/garage was big enough to hold 3 cars which is one reason we rented this house. View from kitchen lovely. Everything worked as we expected from the stove, grill, appliances, TVs and wireless. The upstairs beds (king and queen) both very comfortable. The downstairs twin beds were not as comfortable. We asked that they be pushed together but they were not. The upstairs shower is very slippery and the shower mat helped but warning to future renters to be careful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again. It is very dated and could use updating however.

Ideal location for resort & downtown access, dogs
3/5 stars
Great spot for easy access to green line shuttle to resort, which continues on to downtown. Super ideal for dogs... big yard and an off-leash park within a block. Unit was average, had sufficient space and amenities but definitely not luxury lodging (we didn't expect/want that but has somewhat assumed it would be more luxury for the price). The garage space was too small for fitting either of our vehicles but very convenient for gear storage. We appreciated having room humidifiers available. I would recommend for spring break group stays but personally felt it was overpriced for family holiday stay, the beds a bit uncomfortable, and the amenities pretty basic. I also found the pricing and customer support confusing... too many parties involved in reservation/management so when I needed support I called number after number trying to find who was responsible for my particular concern, which went unresolved as everyone proposed a different party. All this despite paying a very hefty (and required) iTrip "customer service" fee.

Excellent

We loved the house. It has everything one might need. The proximity to the dog park is ideal. The hot tub is a perfect amenity.

Fall family trip
5/5 stars
What a cozy cute little place! Our family really enjoyed this house and we will definitely be back! The back yard was perfect for our dogs. The house was very quiet and cozy! The hosts were very easy to get a hold of when we had a question about check in, and checked in with us often! Thank you so much!

Newly discovered gem!
5/5 stars
This property is older, but the interior is updated nicely. It can accomodate 6 people comfortably and has many ammenities. We booked it because our choices were limited for places to stay with dogs, but now we would deliberately choose it for future trips to Steamboat. The beds were comfortable and I loved that there were lots of pillows, blankets, and towels; a roomy backyard and nice clean hot tub; washer and dryer, and more. Check in was super easy as was communication with management. If I could change anything, it would be that the check out time were later than 10:00 AM...11:00 would be preferable. I wouldn't change anything else.

Whistler Lodge Fun!
5/5 stars
3 generations and a dog had a great time at Whistler Lodge. The huge backyard was an adventure for the toddlers. The off leash trails just across the street led to a lovely secluded pond. We were able to park our car (in the garage!) and not take it out again. The free bus stops right out front, and we took it to town, the ski area, and the rodeo! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, including the gas grill. The beds were very comfortable, the baths were clean and great shower pressure. The house stayed cool inside, we barely needed to run the a/c units. By a stroke of luck, we were able to sit in the wonderful hot tub as we watched the Perseids meteor shower! We’d all love to return!

Great location and space.

Really great house
5/5 stars
We really enjoyed staying at this house. It's an older home (1980) that has a really cozy feel. Really excellent living room area and another den with a gas fireplace. The heated garage was great for our skis and equipment. It is right beside the free shuttle which was awesome. The bathroom had a heated tile floor which was also really great. Plenty of water pressure and plenty of hot water. House was clean and came with everything we needed. We made breakfast and dinner each night. The hot tub was 5 stars. Perfect temp, easy to use, has great jets, and a view of the Gondola. The beds were also comfortable. The couch bed is the older style with the bar, so just be aware it's not the new memory foam style. There are also stairs. Not a problem for us, but just to be aware of.
- Jeremy

Jeremy, thank you for. the 5 star review of Whistler Lodge. We are glad you enjoyed staying at the home as well as the many amenities. iTrip Steamboat

Whistler Lodge
5/5 stars
We stayed here for two weeks at the end of August 2022. This is our third rental in Steamboat and our favorite. I would definitely rent here again. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, the outside table and chairs were great, and the yard was larger than expected. Having access to a park right across the street was an added bonus. Although there was a window A/C in the kitchen, we only used it the day of check in. You can just open windows at night and the house stays nice and cool. We traveled with our 35 pound dog who enjoyed the freedom of a large fenced yard. 5 stars for sure!
- Kathleen

Thank you Kathleen for the review of Whistler Lodge. How wonderful that you enjoyed your two week stay and that Whistler Lodge was clean and comfortable. We welcome you back to your "favorite" vacation rental in Steamboat Springs soon! iTrip Vacations Steamboat Springs

Great Weekend!
5/5 stars
This home was perfect for our family of 6 and our 2 mid/large doggos. We were very comfortable and the large fenced-in yard with the hot tub was quite wonderful. The dogs ran and played and we were able to relax and enjoy them. (Note: This fence is an alternating slat fence so smaller dogs may be able to get through the slats; we traveled with two golden retriever sized and the yard was perfect) There is a fun park across the street with fun woodsie off-leash area for dogs. (Check out signs or website for season warnings when elk may be in the park. ) The rooms were very comfortable and parking was generous. The town offers may wonderful restaurant choices and there is tons to do in the area. Be sure to check out Strawberry Hot Springs. Happy travels.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

My family and I stayed at Whistler Lodge for Thanksgiving. The house was well equipped to make a big Thanksgiving dinner. We brought our dog along and she loved it - the backyard was spacious and the dog park across the street was so much fun for her!

Great stay for family!
5/5 stars
We had a really nice stay here. The hot tub was a plus! We used it in theevening and early morning when it was cool. There was plenty of towels and linens/blankets. It does get warm since there is no central cooling but opening a window of two helped so much! The location is pretty close to everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway for Pet Owners

We spent Thanksgiving week at this conveniently located pet friendly house. The hot tub was amazing and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Our dogs had plenty of room to roam around in the backyard. Would definitely recommend for those traveling with pets.

Great location by the bus line and Whittler Park. My dog loved the backyard!

Right choice is not always obvious
5/5 stars
This house does not look like the cozy chalet-type ski house. Its a split level with no “great room” or log cabin exterior. So for that reason, it wasn’t my first choice. But I got here, I and my entire group were very happy we made this decision. The kitchen has everything you need, sharp knives, good quality pans, etc. The entire house is very clean. Its organized well. Nothing was hard to figure out. The shuttle bus stops right out front. The hot tub and mountain view outback are huge pluses. Its really a smart choice for steamboat and next time I’m in town, I’m renting it again!

Great Place
5/5 stars
Nice Place. Very Clean and comfortable. Perfect for dogs, with the back yard fenced in. Saw a beautiful Elk walk behind the fence in back. Neighbor Lady calls him Mr. Big Horn. Free shuttle is nice for skiing. Picks up right out front.

steamboat is amazing
5/5 stars
While we have only been here a few days we are finding Steamboat beautiful. The house is well located and is meeting our needs. However like all online rentals your online pictures embellish quite a bit. I do find it interesting that you gave a 5 star rating which I couldnt alter. I would have rated it a strong 3
- Rita

House was just as pictured

We had a great week here. House is exactly as pictured/described. Hot tub is great and my two dogs LOVED the yard. Location can't be beat. Close to town and easy to get to the highway to explore and go hiking, which is what we did just about every day we were here.

Spectacular Views
5/5 stars
We really enjoyed our time at the Whistler Lodge in Steamboat! Jason was great to work with and responded very quick to all our questions. The house has a loaded kitchen to cook and grill all you want! Only suggestion would be to add some lighting around the deck or at least by the table. Other than that, no complaints! The views....AMAZING! Thank you Jason!!

We had a great time in Steamboat! Jason was easy to get a hold of and helped answer all our questions. The house has a fully loaded kitchen to cook and grill...only thing I would suggest is the back patio needs a little lighting by the table so you can see around the deck, but other than that, no complaints! Beautiful Views are a HUGE plus!!
