Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Great Ski Trip Pad
5/5 stars
All around great place to stay for a ski weekend. Free shuttle service was nice but we actually found ourselves taking the 5-10 min walk to steamboat base. Office was super nice and let us check in early so we could put our stuff inside before our appointment at strawberry hot springs! Space was clean and more spacious than it looked in the pictures. 4 bathrooms was super convenient for our group of 8.

Great Condo - Awesome customer service!
5/5 stars
The condo at Trappeur's Lodge was very nice! Clean and comfortable. Great location. Customer service was awesome! Travis and Chase made sure we had directions to pick up our keys and that our check in went smooth. They touched base with us multiple times to see if we needed anything and that we were enjoying our stay.

First trip to Steamboat
5/5 stars
Our family had a fabulous trip. The hosts were incredibly helpful with accommodating us despite a water leak issue that shut down the condo for our first 2 days. They arranged another space and took care of all the relocating of bags and groceries so we could enjoy our day skiing. The amenities are top notch, especially the ski shuttle and personal shuttle available to dinners.

Our Stay in Steamboat Springs, CO
4/5 stars
Our place was amazing!! Great location and plenty of room. We were given 2 parking passes but had four cars and we were told by itrip we could park the other two cars out the rodeo parking lot. Well there is no overnight parking allowed at the rodeo parking lot. Our car could have been towed. I recommend not telling people to park there!!!! We were able to park our other two cars at Trappers Crossing.
- Travis

Travis, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Trappeur's Lodge 1306. (the condo and the location). We appreciate the input regarding there no longer being over night parking at the Rodeo Grounds and will be sure to pass this information along to future guests. Thank you! iTrip Steamboat

Everything you need!
4/5 stars
This condo was the perfect amount of space for our family vacation. We encountered a few problems but a handyman was quickly sent to fix some of them. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of pots and pans, dishes, utensils and many other things. I would suggest washing and painting the walls because they are pretty dirty. The ceilings in the showers need a good cleaning as well. The good outweighed any of the issues we encountered though and we appreciated that the condo was pet-free. The pools and hot tubs were heavenly so we definitely used them as often as we could. Overall, we would book this condo again as the price point was perfect for us!

We absolutely loved staying at this condo. The owners provided so many thoughtful details such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, dish soap, and hand soap. We were also pleased to discover complimentary use of the laundry room in the building! Overall, we loved this place!

Great Layout
4/5 stars
We stayed up in Steamboat with another family and this layout was great, each bedroom has its own designated bathroom which was amazing. The property is also well kept up and the accommodations are a plus. Our kids all loved the pools and hot tubs. The only downside was picking up check in keys off site.

Steamboat condo
3/5 stars
Pros-4 BRs and 4 Baths. Shuttle service to mountain and downtown excellent! Running often and very timely. Condo was clean and had thermostats in every room. Nice view of mountain. Gas fireplace. Cons- Loft gets extremely hot despite it being winter; resorted to turning on the bathroom exhaust to pull hot air out and opening balcony door. Condo sleeps 10, we had 7 and still didn’t have enough seating around dining room table. Also needed more glasses, water, wine and highball. Kitchen a bit disorganized, pans in 3 places. The condo space seems more suited to a group of 6 or less.

Pleasant family vacation
5/5 stars
We enjoyed our stay at 1306 Trappeur’s Lodge very much. The unit has four bedrooms, each with it’s “own” bathroom (one is outside the bedroom on the main level). The loft bedroom is open, but still private. I think there is also a pull-out sofa, but we didn’t need it. The kitchen and bathrooms are all well-stocked with supplies. The gas fireplace was nice, and there are several TVs with cable. Ski lockers are on the same level, just outside the room, and easily contained five skiers’ skis and poles. They have an outdoor heated pool, three outdoor 6-person hot tubs, and an indoor hot tub. Shuttle service to the slopes runs about every ten minutes, departing just outside the office, perhaps 100 steps from the unit. If you wanted to walk to the slopes, it’s just about five blocks away. The office staff were very helpful. A small grocery store and liquor store are just two blocks away. Strawberry Park Hot Springs (reservations required) is just ten miles away. Four-wheel-drive is mandatory in the winter, but the road is well-maintained.

Great condo and location!!
5/5 stars
The condo is beautiful and was very clean! The pools and hot tub were great! The location is perfect. You are within walking distance of several restaurants and the mountain coaster. It’s a short drive to downtown if you like to shop. The contactless check in/out was very convenient. The owners messaged me to make sure we had everything we needed. My family and I would definitely stay here again!

#1306 2800 Village Lane
2/5 stars
The condo is in a great location for ski hill access and is part of a larger complex with great amenities. The pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and weight room (albeit small) are very nice. We've stayed at this complex before, but in a different and much newer building. This particular condo needs some TLC. Bathrooms/showers are super small, kitchen has room for only one person, paint and trim is scuffed in many places, it's not well ventilated (hot in summer), and beds and bed linens were similar to a much less expensive motel. The couches and carpet have visible stains. Good thing is you can sleep 6 people comfortably. The location and overall complex are great; this particular condo needs some love if 5-star prices are going to be charged.

Great family resort
5/5 stars
We had two families and we were very comfortable in the space! We had 4 teenagers and they loved the pools, hot tubs, and tennis courts! If I had a negative thing to say it would be that it was hot in the rooms and the beds were too soft for my liking. Otherwise I would give it 4 stars for location, quiet, clean, and family friendly!
- Sarah
Very nice!
5/5 stars
I really liked the accommodations at Trappeur’s lodge. It was perfect for us. We were two adults and two teenagers and it was the perfect size. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 baths which is great but even so it may be tight with more than 6 people. The logistics of finding the condo late at night worked out well. And the shuttle to the mountain was great. They also have a shuttle to wherever you want to go! Which is awesome if you don’t have a car. They have a garage too though if you have a car so either way you’re covered. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back.
- Rebecca

We booked for a month at Trauppeur's lodge, the location is great and amenities are wonderful. Our condo has plenty of space and we love that each bedroom has its own bathroom! Great Place to Stay!
5/5 stars
We really enjoyed our stay at Trappeur’s Lodge. The free shuttle service was very convenient too for getting to the Gondola to ski and downtown at night!
- Lauren
The iTrip staff exceeded our expectations! This particular room wasn't our favorite...
5/5 stars
We have stayed at a different room in the Trappeur's Lodge/Trappeur's Crossing with great results. The location is fantastic, the outdoor hot tubs are plentiful and large (and hot!) and the rooms are compact but designed to maximize space and utility. Our stay in room 1306 at Trappeur's Lodge wasn't the greatest experience for us. The availability of pots, pans and kitchen items was basic. It was functional but not great (there was only 1 coffee mug but several tiny tea cups). Overall, our stay was nearly ruined because the furnishings in the condo were completely worn out. The sofa and chairs in the TV nook were old reject seating with the cushioning so crushed that it wasn't comfortable to sit or congregate. The twin beds seem to have slightly newer mattresses but all 3 of the Queen suites had bedding that was so uncomfortable that you could feel the inner springs, and at least one bed was so destroyed in the center that occupants rolled into the caved-in center of the bed. The head boards were not attached well and leaned inward over the beds when you laid down. The frames were weak (and we are not heavy people!). We would not have been able to sleep at all if not for Jason at iTrip, who made a special trip to Walmart to purchase (at no expense to us!) mattress toppers for all 3 queen beds which didn't help with other 'bed issues' but did make it more comfortable (we couldn't feel the springs through the mattress anymore) and I am eternally grateful to iTrip for going the EXTRA MILE to save our vacation lodging experience. Thank you so much iTrip for saving the day! We will book with you again!!

Great condo near everything !
5/5 stars
We loved everything, from the checkin really super easy and clear to the condo located in the center of the Ski area and on every free bus route to Old town, with lots of space, clean and comfy, 2pools and hot tubs, a firepit and barbecues, really quiet.

nice place
4/5 stars
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely place. Lots of activities onsite and close to lift and the Summer activities. Couldn't give it a 5 star due to the beds. Just not up to par. Also no AC so be ready. We would have stayed longer but we were visiting to get out of the heat and steamboat was hot!

Great condo + host!
5/5 stars
What an amazing first trip to Steamboat. I have to thank Jason for making everything easy and hosting us in such a great condo. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable for my group of 8 adults. Awesome views from the porch and the amenities at the building are endless. Jason was kind and took his time to meet us early and give us a full tour of everything. Thanks again!!
- Scott
Great location, convenient spot
4/5 stars
Trappeurs was a great stay for our group of 9 with 4 adults and 5 kids. The shuttle service was awesome and the pool and hot tubs were a great way to unwind. There was a smell in the unit possibly from a cooking spice and the unit seemed to be very warm with the thermostat set to 60. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would return.
- Monica
Great family time away
5/5 stars
Highly recommend this property. Comfortable space, exactly as advertised. Beds and linens comfy. Well appointed kitchen. In unit Tablet was helpful in exploring outing choices. Jason is gracious and responsive. Free shuttle was super convenient. Great location -- walking distance to ski resort. Pool and hot tubs well maintained and waaaaaay fun. Snow gear storage massively convenient. Heated parking was a bonus. We would return stay!

Two level condo with all the amenities
5/5 stars
Trappeur's lodge offers great pools and hot tubs with underground parking! Condo 1306 is great for a large group with a private bath for each bedroom.. It is one of the older condos but well equipped with everything you need for any length of stay and all the great amenities offered through trappeurs. Our kids loved it. Jason with i.trips is always available and attentive to making sure all your needs are taken care of before, during and after your visit!

Steamboat Springs, CO
5/5 stars
We booked a condo through itrip vacations with Jason Loeb. Jason's representation of the condo was accurate, and he was extremely helpful throughout our 10 day stay in Steamboat. Our condo was located at Trapperus's Crossing which is a great location for skiers. Our large family of skiers has frequented Steamboat Springs for 30 years and we have stayed in many different locations. Trappeur's was one of the best, but it was Jason that made it so.
