Latigo Lookout is located in an extremely desirable and prime Steamboat neighborhood. There are only a dozen townhomes in this private, quiet loop and you are within walking distance to the Steamboat base area.
Latigo Lookout itself is a spacious, 3 level, recently remodeled townhome offering a private hot tub with amazing slope views, multiple decks, private shuttle service, a 2 car attached garage and much more.
Ideal for families or couples, this 1,632 sq ft three bedroom plus loft, four bathroom townhome is well appointed and beautifully updated in a rocky mountain modern style and makes the perfect Steamboat vacation rental.
You are close enough to walk to skiing in the winter and the Steamboat ‘beach’ in the summer, as well as restaurants, pubs and shopping year-round. You also have the convenience of both our free private shuttle service (picks up at your unit) and are only a few minute or so walk away from the YEAR-ROUND free bus stop to the mountain, town, grocery stores and more.
Enter Latigo Lookout on the ground level through the front door or the attached garage, where you will find plenty of storage for coats, boots, gloves, etc. There are boot dryers in the garage!
On this level you will find two bedrooms. One is the queen en suite, which offers lots of storage (closet and dresser), small tv and a stunning private full bathroom with a walk in shower. The other is the bunk room with a two twin bunk beds (four twin beds), tv and lots of storage (closet and dresser). There is another full bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower combo.
At the end of the hallway on this level is a cute back patio with furniture that leads to the walking trails and a nice maintained garden area. The full size washer and dryer are also on this level.
Up a flight of stairs is the main level, offering a roomy living area with mountain views and the master en suite. The updated full kitchen features, gorgeous stone countertops, brand new stainless appliances and modern mountain-style wood cabinetry and just about every small appliance and other kitchen item you can imagine. It is completely stocked with everything you'll need to stay in and make a meal.
The bright, well lit living space also offers lots of windows, a vaulted ceiling and plenty of comfortable seating and entertainment. Kick back on the large leather sectional and watch a game, movie or show on the flat screen TV. There is also a gas fireplace that will keep you toasty in the winter. There is a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the summer.
For meals and games, you have a nice sized dining table with six chairs. There are also four more chairs at the kitchen island that makes a nice extra dining area. Both areas offer a great place to do a puzzle, play a game or set up your workstation. Combined with high speed wifi, the Latigo Lookout makes a great spot for your remote working needs.
Right off the living area is a covered deck with panoramic and unforgettable mountain views. It is an alluring and peaceful setting also on green space with lots of trees, a gas grill and two benches. Enjoy the mountain fresh air with the beverage of your choice. Depending on the time of year, don’t be surprised if you get to see a moose, elk, bear or fox!
Also off of the living area is the master suite, which provides a comfy king bed, lots of storage (walk-in closet and dresser), a tv and access to the master bathroom. It has been fabulously remodeled and offers a walk in shower. This bathroom has a second entrance from the living area and doubles as the main level powder room, is able to close off from the master.
The hot tub deck is accessed via both the living area and master suite. Along with the hot tub and spectacular slope views, there is an outdoor dining table and chairs.
One flight up from the living area is the loft en suite which offers a queen bed, drawers, a hanging rod and private en suite bathroom with a walk in shower.
The two car, attached garage, provides parking as well as great storage for skis, snowboards, bikes and more. One additional parking spot on the driveway is available. No street parking and no RVs, campers, trailers, etc are allowed to be parked on the driveway or street per the neighborhood HOA.
Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
