Washashore is fully equipped for your vacation. A large cooler, beach toys and plenty of beach chairs are all available. There is also plenty of of covered/shaded area on the ground floor with a table for relaxing, storage and staging your day at the beach.
You’ll love the open floor plan in this one story home. Washashore has been completely renovated recently with new furniture, HD flat screen TVs, floors, carpeting and paint. The bedroom arrangement is perfect for one or two families. Each bedroom features it's own bathroom. The 3rd bedroom can easily be used for adults or kids with a king bed and a twin bed with a trundle!
If you've never been to Bald Head Island, you're in for a real treat. You'll love driving the well kept golf carts or bicycling along the beach road or through the lush Maritime Forest. Visit Old Baldy, the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina, and learn about the Island's pirate and Civil War history. Join the Conservancy and take a turtle walk where you might see a loggerhead turtle lay her eggs or watch a nest hatch.

**Please keep in mind the BHI CLUB is now capping registration for their guest memberships. If you wish to attend the club please apply ASAP. Keep in mind there are new rules regarding what days you can attend the club and what activities guest members can use. Contact the club directly or go on their sites for any questions. We do not control club rates, rules, or restrictions. No discount or refund will be provided if club membership is restricted or denied.

* No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.
* If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions!

BHI Info:
BHI is a private island where you can only get to by boat or ferry. This is a golf cart only island. Leave your vehicle behind & cruise on the golf cart provided at the home. The island is approx. 5 by 2 miles. You can bike around the island in only an hour or two! BHI is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, shops, restaurants, & activities.
BHI Activities:
-Rent bikes at Coastal Urge or Riverside Adventure Company.
-Rent a stand up paddle board from Coastal Urge as well!
-Climb Old Baldy Lighthouse!
-Go on a historic island tour from the Old Baldy Foundation.
-Take a ghost walk, sail, surf, or kayak with the Sail Shop.
-Take a hike on the many trails.
-For a guided hike, guided kayak, or guided canoe trip visit the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
