Meet a Local Rental Property Management Team in Asheville

iTrip® Asheville is owned and operated by Helen Gentry, who has had a successful career in leadership and real estate. Helen earned her North Carolina real estate license in 2019, and became a real estate broker and the recipient of multiple awards. However, the most rewarding aspect of the role for her was supporting her clients in reaching their goals.

Helen’s career began in 2006 when she became a small business owner. She and a friend purchased the paint-your-own-pottery studio where they had worked in college. She later worked in nonprofit leadership and development and became a licensed minister along with her husband, Dave. Helen loves serving her local community, and many of her roles involved event planning, where she developed a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences. In addition, she has a master's degree in business administration and a graduate certificate in professional and executive coaching.

With Helen's expertise in real estate, her love of the unique place that is Asheville, and her passion for helping others create memories to cherish, iTrip is a perfect fit. She opened iTrip Asheville in summer 2024 and has quickly established herself as an expert in short-term rental management in North Carolina.

Helen spent part of her childhood living in the North Carolina mountains and returned to western North Carolina with her husband and daughter in 2011. Today she can be found enjoying the Asheville food scene, trying a new restaurant or coffee shop, or taking a class at the baking school near her home.
