Oak Island Vacation 2024
5/5 stars
We had a great stay at The Sea Prize in Oak Island. This is our third year in a row visiting Oak Island and we plan to come back. The house and pool were beautiful, with very close proximity to the beach. During our stay, we unfortunately had two issues - floors were not cleaned and an ant/palmetto bug infestation. However, when we contacted iTrip, they came out to assess the issue and sprayed until the exterminator was able to come. They also provided a refund for the cleaning fee, plus a little more for all of our frustrations, which we really appreciated. We would happily rent through iTrip and stay at The Sea Prize again.
- Lisa

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Lisa! We’re delighted you enjoyed the house and pool. We’re sorry about the issues with the cleanliness and pests, but glad to hear that we were able addressed them promptly. We look forward to welcoming you back for another stay at The Sea Prize

Our BEST VACATION ever!
5/5 stars
The house, furnishings, private pool, view, location—all superb! We stayed Saturday to Saturday and wish now that we had signed up for two weeks instead of one. Our adult children and their spouses all agree—-we haven’t had a better week anywhere since we started our annual summertime family vacations about 6 years ago. The TV’s are superb. One small glitch on the main TV programming the day before leaving & James came right away and fixed. We had a lot of rain and when an island saturated, the bugs seek high ground. Again, we called and James came right away, sprayed, and bugs no more! It’s just a super gorgeous place! If we had anything to add, it would be flood lights out back so at night since the pool doesn’t have internal lighting, the floods would help us keep swimming well into the darkness of night. But that’s a NICE to have, not a NEED to have suggestion. We WILL rent again, probably next summer!
- Michael

Thank you for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear the whole family loved the home! We are glad James was able to help right away! We will definitely look into adding that amenity! It was an absolute pleasure hosting all of you and we are looking forward to hosting you again next summer (:

Wonderful stay
5/5 stars
My family and I spent a week at the Sea Prize. It was such a wonderful experience. Close access to the beach plus a great pool in the backyard to cool off in. The house is gorgeous and the elevator made it so much easier for my mom to not have to use the stairs. Definitely looking forward to planning another trip.
- Donna

Terrific Time!
5/5 stars
We had the best week at The Sea Prize! Wonderful memories were made with our children and grandchildren! The house is wonderful, the view and the location are outstanding! Just 2 little suggestions….. an exterminator for the ants and roaches and a more routine pool service, it was cloudy the entire week. Thank you again, we would love to return next year!!
- Heidi

Thank you for your review Heidi! It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. We are thrilled to hear you had the best week. We gone in and sprayed and switched the cleaning schedule for the pool so that won't be a problem in the summer! We look forward to hosting you again next year!

Sea Prize
5/5 stars
The house is in excellent condition, just as advertised, and a perfect location. We had a wonderful time on Oak Island and at the house and would definitely return. Very well furnished with ample seating and dining areas. The rocking chairs on the porches looking out to the beach were great. The kitchen was generally well-furnished but some of the pots/pans have seen better days. The grill on the deck off the kitchen was perfectly located (instead of on the ground, two floors down). Upon arrival, there were several broken chairs around the pool that the management company took care of that day. We did have to wait about 45 minutes after we were supposed to get into the house while the cleaning service finished, which wasn't a major issue, but could have caused problems for folks coming in with groceries. The only real gripe we had was the linen service only provided a single towel and washcloth per person, meaning we were washing towels daily. Overall, a great house for staying on Oak Island.
- Clay

Thank you for your review! We apologize for the wait on the cleaning crew and your feedback. It was an absolute pleasure to host you!
