Must notify us prior to check in if you are wanting to rent the golf cart as well. Local golf cart rentals are upwards up $600-800/week depending on size. This cart can get added to the stay for $400/week or $75/ day if your stay is 6nights or less.
Welcome to the perfect family island home. Tucked among Oak Island's famous giant oak trees is Salty Oaks. Use the provided 6 seater Golf Cart to enjoy the easy ocean access via the 40th street beach access. Experience all of beautiful Oak Island. Located just .7 mile from the beach and close to restaurants, and shopping.
Salty Oaks offers luxury accommodations at an affordable rate. A beautiful "southern style" rocking porch featuring 4 rockers welcome you to Salty Oaks. As you enter the spacious home, you will be greeted by airy, vaulted ceilings, and details such as shiplap accent walls open concept style and stunning kitchen area. A coffee and wine bar with stone counter tops, featuring a workstation option will provide a unique space. The fully equipped kitchen features a large work island, 4 stool seating, perfect for breakfast, stainless appliances and deep workstation sink. Under cabinet lighting and Vitamix appliance are included.
The dining room area comfortably seats 6 with the counter seating providing 4 more places.Directly off both the kitchen and Master bedroom is a peaceful breezy retreat screened in porch, featuring two comfortable swivel rockets with footstools. The perfect place for morning coffee or evening wine.
When entering the Master bedroom, you will immediately notice the coastal themed decor with luxury bedding and Sony wall mount TV. The master bath features double sinks and zero entry shower. Directly off the Primary Bath is access to the large master walk in closet. Assess to the handy laundry room wit a washer and dryer is available from the Primary closet or the kitchen area.
The first guestroom provides a relaxing retreat with spacious closet and comfortable queen size bed.The fun and colorful second guest room features a twin bunk over full bed providing suitable comfort for either kids or adults. In between the two is a beautifully tiled full bath.
The fun doesn't stop there! Downstairs you will find a breezy cool screened in area featuring sectional seating, corn hole, fire pit, dining area, grill, half bath and outdoor shower with hold and cold water.

**The pool can only be heated if the outside temperature is 55degrees or higher. Must be notified ahead of check in if you'd like to pay extra for the pool to be heated. Heating is $100/night**
*On January 10th, 2023 the Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The cost will be $5 per hour, $20 per day and $80 per week.*

10. Please take care of the furnishings and appliances in the house. You will be responsible to pay for damages that may happen during your stay. Including damage from pets.
11. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
12. Please make sure all dishes are clean and properly put away before checking out. (Dish washer pods can be found in your welcome bag, extras under sink) Sart the dishwasher cycle before leaving if dirty dishes are left.
13. Please empty the trash and recycling bins inside the home into their respective larger outdoor bins.
14. No illegal substances allowed on the premises (including any legalized synthetics mimicking illegal drugs)
15. When returning from the beach, please be sure to rinse off sandy feet.
16. The golf cart is NOT included in the rental and is an optional item to add for $400/week, or $75/day if your stay is under 6 nights or less. Anyone under the age of 21 years old is NOT permitted to operate the golf cart. Failure to follow this rule will result in a breach of house rules and loss of rental. Must follow all local rules and laws. As the tenant, sending in the waiver form is you accepting any responsibility to any damage that may occur to the cart and injury to others.
