Perfect Location
5/5 stars
We originally had an issue accessing the unit as I was sent the wrong door code but iTrip handled the issue promptly and provided me with a new code. The unit was in a perfect location and across the street from John’s Pass. The unit was clean and had the most beautiful view of the ocean. The extra sink in the closet helped with more than one person getting ready at the same time and the king sized bed was very comfy. Would definitely consider staying in this unit again.

Location & unit were great
5/5 stars
We were really happy with our choice to stay in unit 202 at Sandy Shores! The location is PERFECT! Right across from John’s Pass and right on the beach - what more could you ask for? The unit was a perfect BEACH VIBE - and it was clean! Highly recommend staying here. Property owner communicated everything we needed to know before we arrived and checking in with us during our stay. It was just delightful and made for the best beach trip. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Stay
5/5 stars
The best of locations across from John’s Pass and a direct view of the Gulf and pool. Most nights we would eat dinner on the balcony and watch the sun set and sea life. The pool temperature is perfect. The unit itself was completely updated. The bed is very comfortable with charging stations on the nightstands. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. The designated parking space was nice. We’ll be back.

Great place to stay

4 of us stayed in this condo and it worked out great. The extra vanity with sink in the master closet worked out perfectly for getting ready. It is in a perfect location

Perfect Location!
5/5 stars
Our family debated between 2 places to stay - one being a bit further from the “action” which would require a car. We chose this unit and couldn’t have been happier. Not only does it face the gulf and overlooks the pool on the second floor, but it is just steps away (across the street) from the Johns Pass Boardwalk which we frequented every day. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed including beach towels, umbrella and chairs. One thing to note which wasn’t clear in the listing is the living room couch is not a pull out. But there is a daybed (in addition to the main king bed) in the bedroom that has a pull out trundle. To give the privacy to the kids and adults, we moved the two daybed mattresses into the living room (super easy). Another benefit was the extra sink/vanity in the storage closet that’s just off the bedroom - this was helpful considering there was just one main bathroom to share. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing a fan/sound machine to block out the noise as the trash chute is right near the unit and is very loud (and it can get noisy hearing all the neighbors running around). One covered parking spot near the stairwell and coin operated laundry (outside the unit) was convenient. Overall I would recommend!

Our 3 week stay was wonderful. The condo had been updated since our last stay. The team was responsive to all our questions. Have already booked for next year.

Beautiful View!!!!!!
4/5 stars
This is a lovely spot for a single or a couple to enjoy the heated pool and the gulf beach plus the easy walk across the street to John's Pass for eating and shopping. This is my second stay at Sandy Shores, and I feel very safe with all the codes needed to get into the elevator, stairs, condo, pool, etc. That being said, they don't always work well, but patience is the key. The condo is nicely decorated but very tired as it is 44 years old. However, it is basically very clean, but you do not want to be walking around barefoot or in your socks; floors need a deep cleaning. iTrip was very pleasant to work with, and I will use them again.

Nice condo with the best location. Literally across the street from John's pass. Bedroom has a sink and vanity in the closet which is nice for more than one person getting ready to go out at the same time. Bed is comfortable. Couch with fold out bed was not as comfortable. There are beach chairs, boards and sand toys in the closet for use on the beach, along with a cooler bag to pack for drinks and snacks. I would definitely stay here again

Nice place, but getting WAY too expensive!
5/5 stars
I've been vacationing at Sandy Shores condos for around 8 years now. While I do enjoy the location, the beach, pool and amenities, I most likely won't be able to return next year due to the price increases. We noticed a definite increase in empty condos there this year. The place seemed empty compared to previous years. I can only assume that other families also are unable to afford the price increase. Hopefully the condo owners will notice this and lower the prices some.

A lovely stay
5/5 stars
Overall the stay was great. It was close to all the shops and restaurants. The beach was beautiful. Two things we found, one the floor was dirty but not unbearable and being so close to the elevator/trash disposal gets a little loud at times. It did make it convenient but others staying in the building we inconsiderate of how loud they were. Maybe they were unaware. Want to send a big shout out to Tim with the beach chair and umbrella crew. He was very attentive and helpful with his knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay here again. Happy travels to all.

Ocean view!
5/5 stars
The condo was perfect. It has an amazing view of the ocean that was so relaxing/peaceful to experience every day! The condo was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The best part besides the view was the short time it took to walk out to the beach. Amazing experience!

Quick amazing trip

Had a great time. Was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Being right on the beach gave us the perfect views and access we were looking for. Dolphins everywhere made it even better!

The condo was exactly like the photos. Very clean. Nice amenities. And even a few extras the owner knew we would enjoy using. If I any negative to say, it would be "No salt or pepper". This was the 1st home we have stayed in that didn't have salt and pepper, and, of course we forgot to buy some when we shopped for other items. As silly as this sounds, it was the ONLY thing wrong. So, you can expect to be delighted if you choose this property.

Good Location, iffy place.
3/5 stars
This is our 3rd trip to St Pete area, 1st in this bldg. The location is great, walk to supper and ice cream across the street. You can fish easy under the bridge. Groceries close. Beach was great, a bit busy since close to public access, but that was OK. Dolphins came by in front of property every morning about 9am. The construction did not bother us at all in 202. I know it did bother others though. When we were there (early June18) they were working on the east end of bldg so it was not an issue, minor noise. The condo needs help, you can tell it's owned by somebody/a business that owns many condos. There's just no TLC, the vertical blinds died many years ago, need to be cremated. Just generally dirty, dingy. Deck was great, Kbed was above avg, light weight kids did good on pullout. Elevator is too damn slow. High end new gas grills on property. Extra sink and mirror in walk in closet, was nice. Pool was nice. Key to get to pool and beach is a dumb idea, they need to make that a code lock and change it once a month or whatever. 1 key for a family going back and forth just does not work. I would not stay here again. Too many other options down there.

Sandy Shores Condo 202
5/5 stars
Awesome balcony view of pool and beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. Perfect low key location. Shops and resteraunts right across the street at Johns Pass. We had a wonderful relaxing time, and will definitely visit again. The condo is spacious and cute but is in need of updating. Carpeting needs replaced, patio blinds are in disrepair. It would not take much to make this condo #1!

2nd stay and we had a great time
4/5 stars
My husband and I stayed in Sandy Shores 202 for the 2nd time and just returned home . We had a great time ! I wanted to list the improvements made since last year and hopefully the remaining issues as this place deserve to be on the top of the list . The previous review stated the updated furniture and the new look ! The WIFi yeah has been fixed and I watched the Spectrum tech install the router . It was the last condo in the building to join the improved WiFi . It works great ! The rusted old toilet paper holder in the bathroom has been REPLACED with a new SS holder . They also added new curtain on the bedroom window to block the light . I must agree with the previous reviewer , the carpets in both the family and the bedroom are very old and spotty all over and the condo itself is in real need of deep cleaning . Specially around the corners , utility and closet spaces .My husband prefers carpet not ceramic floors and I have passed my comment to the agent . Professional carpet cleaning and spot removal are needed . Lastly, I want to thank the listing agent iTrip both Liz and Brandon for their excellent customer service . Because of them and how responsive they are ,, people would want to come back . We have recommended itrip to our friends and Family . Looking forward to be back !

Great Place

The property was great. The location is fantastic. We would definitely stay there again. The only downside is the proximity to the elevator and trash chute. We purchased a fan to run at night and didn't have another problem. (We left the fan for the next guests :-) )

Perfect getaway
5/5 stars
We loved our stay at Sandy shores. We sat on the Lanai watching the dolphins playing in the gulf. How perfect to have John's Pass boardwalk right across the road,, restaurants, shops, entertainment, it's all there! The condo was clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, well equipped and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Sandy Shores 202
5/5 stars
Condo was beautiful. Ocean front. Very clean. We loved our stay there. Parking was a bit weird - you have to drive around to find the right spot as they are not in any kind of order as to the numbers. The only thing I would suggest would be to put a room darkening shade in the bedroom as there is an outside hall light right outside that window and the room was not dark at night to sleep in.
- Sheryl

Thank you for the review. Glad to hear you loved your stay! We will look into your suggestions.

The location was AMAZING but....
4/5 stars
I do want to start by saying the location of Sandy Shores and condo 202 was amazing. Cannot say enough about it. Right on the beach and we had our pool right there too, watched the dolphins every morning and the sunset every night. And John's Pass Village was just across the street. However, the condo itself lacked. The biggest problem at Sandy Shores was the horrible WiFi, which in this day and age is just unacceptable. It needs to be addressed. Very frustrating. After that, it seemed like regular maintenance and upkeep were an issue. Little things but lots of little things add up. Ceiling near the patio obviously suffered water damage and wasn't repaired well. The bedroom closet was like a storage junkyard, stuff all over the place. Cupboards with paint chipped in big patches, busted toilet paper rolls, bedroom mirror propped against the wall. All this to say that it really can be the perfect place to be if someone could just take care of the details. ITrip served us very well, i have no complaints. And the property itself was very well taken care of by the young man who worked there. We would probably return, again because of the location, but it would be really nice if someone could take care of those little things and treat that place like the jewel it can be
- Tina

Thank you so much for your review. The building WiFi has been a problem for us in the past, but a new high-speed Fiber Optic system has now been installed, and works AMAZING! We'll make sure that everything else you mentioned is looked at and repaired as quickly as possible. Thank you!

My husband and I spend a month 1/14/2017 to 2/11/2017 and we had a wonderful time . Sandy shore location across the street from John's pass village is excellent . The building is in good condition and we appreciated the excellent maintenance and cleaning of the common ground and the pool area. The condo itself 202 while comfortable is in need of urgent upgrade . We hope the owner puts a little effort in upgrading the condo , it's a beautiful place .we are hopefull minor upgrade would put this condo on the top of the list . We enjoyed our stay and felt at home . Thank you , we are coming back and looking forward for the face lift

This gorgeous, one bedroom condo faces the Gulf of Mexico, and is perfectly located within a few steps of some of the best shopping and dining spots in the area. All the kitchen utensils and pots and pans and appliances were good quality and in good condition. A truly great spot to spend a memorable vacation.

While we had an awesome time in Madeira Beach, this condo was very dated and in need of some TLC. Who ever owns this peace of paradise, needs to out some efforts into updating and cleaning.
