Without little doubt, this mountain retreat is one of the gems of the Government Camp community. Sitting just seconds away from the heart of town you are barely a block away from the Huckleberry Inn and the rest of the great food and entertainment options nearby. Whether its the nearby slopes of Ski Bowl, Timberline or Meadows ski resorts, sledding at Timberline Summit Pass, or any of the countless hiking and biking trails, lakes, or streams, Nor Ski Haus A is the perfect location for you to thoroughly enjoy everything the Mt. Hood region has to offer.

Inside you will find three levels consisting of four bedrooms and four full bathrooms that have been thoroughly renovated, updated, and enhanced to a level that is unparalleled in the region. Every bit of furnishing and décor was curated to create that perfect blend of mountain style and comfort. The lower level offers flexible sleeping options with a queen and twin over twin bunk with twin trundle pullout. Additionally you'll find a full bed here with an en-suite full bathroom.  It's a great setup for the kiddos, young adults or anyone that needs a comfortable place to crash.

Ascending upstairs to the main floor, you will find the fully renovated and stocked kitchen. While space is at a premium, we have worked to provide a combination of flexible seating either on the couch, beanbag seats, the custom bar-top, or the dining table with plush chairs.  Here you will also have access to the patio that is equipped with our custom ski chairs, fire-table, and of course the BBQ for your grilling experience. The final piece of this floor is the second spacious bedroom with king bed, streaming big screen TV and fully renovated en-suite bathroom.  When its time to rest and recuperate a bit, kick back and stream your favorite show or movie.

The top floor offers the other two beautifully furnished bedrooms. One features a king bed, streaming big screen TV and en-suite bathroom while the larger bedroom has two queen beds tucked below custom mountain artwork, also featuring streaming big screen TV with gaming console. For maximum sleeping flexibility there is an additional bunk bed.   From here you can take in much of the surrounding Government Camp landscape along with the hills and forests beyond.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.

Nor Ski Haus offers one of the best locations in the region and has been set up to offer a truly memorable vibe and experience for any group that stays. We have little doubt, the Nor Ski Haus will offer you an exceptional mountain escape for you and your group or family.

Property Information:

Please note, there is only one designated parking spot for this unit though there is plenty of street parking nearby (please take note of street signs denoting parking hours). We will provide you with all of the information we can regarding these options after booking.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

This unit is one side of a duplex. The other side is a mirror. If you need additional sleeping capacity or have a larger group, this could be an option. Please reach out to see what is possible.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1  Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
2  All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. 
3  No glitter or confetti is to be used or dispersed on the property. Failure to comply will result in extra cleaning fees of at least $300.00 at a minimum.
4  The maximum number of occupants shall not exceed the advertised number stated on the listing.
5  Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
6  If Pets are allowed on Property a $100 per pet fee is required. Let us know if you will be bringing pets so we can send a $100 request per pet. Please pick up after your pets. If feces are left behind an extra charge of $50 applied clean up. If it is marked as "No pets" this policy must be observed and pets are not allowed on premises.
7  Smoking is not allowed in the unit. $500 fine if evidence of smoking is found in the unit.
8  Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
9  Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state the rental vacation rental property resides in, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of the state or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits.
10  There shall be no noise that can be heard outside the home between the hours of 10pm - 7am. If noise is an issue, you will get a written warning text message to the number that booked the reservation and/or a phone call. If noise does not stop, you will be fined up to $300 or possibly evicted immediately.
11  Any items left that a guest leaves and wishes to be returned and shipped will incur a $30 fee plus shipping. 
12. Commercial use of the property, including filming, is prohibited unless approved with a signed location release form. Any unauthorized filming for commercial use will result in immediate eviction and possible legal action.

SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES
Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the listings advertised guests, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

Violations of our noise rules or maximum number of guests agreed to at the time of booking will result in possible fines or immediate eviction with all loss of all rents.  Depending on severity if there is a noise situation we may call and issue a warning or proceed with a $300 fine. If we cannot reach the guest that booked the property someone will show up to at a minimum issue a $300 fine and/or evict the entire group immediately. Any delay will result in us involving the authorities and trespassing every person on the property as well as the loss of all rents. Additional fines or damages may be assessed after removal. 

HOLD HARMLESS
iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
 
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The undersigned Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.

This townhouse was located one block from the main street. Had some great meals in town, drove to Multnomah Falls, and went to the trout farm. This property was very clean and the layout was well thought out. Unit was very well-equipped with anything you would need.

Perfect location!

Our family loved our stay at Nor Ski House A! We were a group of 8: 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8-12. The house was the perfect size for our group. The shared spaces (kitchen/dining/family room) would probably feel cramped with a larger group, but there are plenty of sleeping options for a larger group, if they don’t intend to spend a ton of time in the shared spaces. For our group of 8, the space was perfect. The house is nicely remodeled and decorated. It was clean on arrival, and stocked with enough essentials (toilet paper, shampoo, laundry and dishwasher pods, paper towels) for our three night stay! The kitchen had all the cooking appliances and utensils we needed. We made every meal in the house except for one dinner out, so we spent a lot of time in the kitchen! There were plenty of cups, coffee mugs and dishes available. There was even a good supply of cooking essentials in the house- salt and pepper, cooking spray, and coffee, etc. Our favorite part about the house was the location. It really is right in the heart of Government Camp. Just around the corner from the general store and walking distance to all the shops/rental spots/restaurants. It’s directly behind the Glacier Public House, which we were initially hesitant about, but boy, do folks in Government Camp take that 10 pm quiet hour rule seriously! The bar seemed to still be hopping at 10 pm on a Saturday night, but by 10:12 pm, the streets outside were completely silent! We were very impressed with how quiet it was, despite being right in the middle of all the action! The house is only a short drive from hiking, Trillium Lake, Timberline Lodge, and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl Adventure Park. We had so much fun exploring the area! There’s only a tiny parking area in front of the house, but there was plenty of street parking right next to the unit, so parking wasn’t an issue, even on a busy Saturday in July. There is no a/c, but there were fans in every room, and as long as you opened the windows in the evening to let the cool breeze in, the house stayed at a very pleasant temperature. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The kids enjoyed the old school Nintendo games in the upstairs bunk room, and we completed one of the puzzles in the house during our stay. The check-out time (10 am) is on the early side, however, since the checkout process was so simple (basically just empty the trash, turn off the lights and lock the door), it was no problem for our group to get out in time. iTrip was super responsive when I had a couple questions regarding our stay, and I appreciated their attentiveness! We would definitely recommend this home to others!

Amazing House!

I couldn't believe how well decorated this house was! There were 11 of us and it was perfect for our group. The location couldn't be any better, right behind the Huckleberry Inn, and we were able to walk everywhere. We look forward to staying here again!

Nice house with modern decor

A very nice and cozy place for large families. Tucked in a place which provides access to Mt hood and surrounding areas, we enjoyed the 3days throughout. The supporting staff were friendly and took care of our needs in timely manner.
