Our (2) bedroom condo is perfect for families or couples to enjoy the luxury of (2) king bedrooms, both with amazing water views and shared access to the balcony. The condo is blessed with an abundance of natural sunlight and views with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and doors, overlooking the large Lagoon Pool, lush landscaping & turquoise emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The spacious open floor-plan has water views and Italian tile throughout the kitchen, dining area, living room bathrooms & balcony. The living room is tastefully decorated, offering a wonderful place to curl up with a great book or enjoy a movie or sporting event on the large flat-screen SMART TV. The dining room table has seating for (4).

The kitchen is well-equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances; double sided refrigerator/freezer, stovetop oven, microwave & dishwasher. Make your favorite cup of Joe with your choice of a standard coffee maker or Keurig. One will never feel left out while preparing meals & entertaining in the kitchen for everyone can easily talk throughout the area while prepping meals & snacks while admiring the water. Feel free to dine alfresco on the balcony, a perfect place to watch family members and friends enjoying their time at the pool while kicking back on the (2) chaise loungers with small side tables, and (2) teak cushioned arm chairs and table.

The Master Bedroom & Guest Bedroom each have full Gulf-View windows, floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors with private access to the balcony. Both bedrooms have a king bed with a Stearns and Foster mattress, a flat-screen 40” Smart TV’s, with Blu-Ray DVD players, Bose radios with a built-in iPhone charger, ceiling fans. The Master Bedroom has a relaxing power touch recliner and large walk-in closet. The ensuite bathroom displays a long granite vanity, deep soaking tub, and a spacious tiled walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and bench seat, for your comfort. The Guest Bedroom bathroom is very private with a tiled walk-in shower, rainfall shower head, granite vanity, and linen room with a washer and dryer. The Queen Sleeper Sofa is available in the Living Room and a custom Serta Twin Rollaway Bed is available upon request.

Upon returning from a long day at the beach, make time to take a refreshing dip in the Lagoon Pool or unwind in the hot tub or book an appointment at the full-service spa. This condo was great with two king suites with awesome views of pool and ocean. Easy walk to beach and the pool is fantastic. Gym facilities great and pickleball courts appeared to be newly resurfaced when we played. Lights would be a great addition to all courts. Check in was easy and early check in was even better. Nice big tv and comfortable beds were fantastic. Very close to shopping and restaurants made it even more enjoyable. We would rent this place again.

My family and I come here every year we stay at st corix room 405 it’s the best view of pool and ocean always so clean easy access to pool and ocean love sitting on balcony especially on Friday and Saturday night listening to live music from sand bar if you want a great place and room I definitely recommend this place room 405 will not be disappointed 😀

This condo is fully loaded! We have stayed here for past few years. Easy access to everything. . Step out of room onto a balcony with views. Always clean, stocked with essentials, very updated sounds, lights, and comfortable. Beds are amazing! Views of amazing pool, and beach with in steps . We have stayed in the condo for several years and always enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We appreciated the new furniture, carpeting , bedding and TV that were added this year. The ITrip staff is always prompt in responding to any problems. We were happy that the gym facilities on the premises reopened this year and we were able to use them often. We always enjoy our stay at Silver Shells!

We stayed at Silver Shells St. Croix 405 and it was absolutely beautiful. This condo fit all of our needs and then some. First they had everything you could need in the kitchen, including a coffee pot and a keurig. Second we did not have to rush out to the store because there was toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dish and dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent already there. We did buy some and replenish to pay it forward. Third the condo is updated and decorated so pretty. We never had to wait for an elevator. It was a great location. We had fun at the beach bar and pool. The beach was spectacular! It was perfect for our stay. We hope to go back there again in the near future and would definitely stay here again. Lastly when I called with some questions before our trip they were so helpful and kind. We highly recommend staying here.

The location was exactly what we wanted, right on the beach, nice pool. This is me being very nitpicky so take it for what it is, the ac was much colder in the common rooms vs the bedrooms. Also we didn't know there were beach chairs and innertubes in the front closet so make sure you check there. We will be back!

This place is the best vacation there is so convenient to the beach the pool hot tub so relaxing every room looks out at the ocean always so clean and neat and any problems it’s took care of immediately all staff are super helpful and nice if you want a great family vacation and beautiful beach I definitely recommend st croix at silver shells room 405 you will not be disappointed

This was the perfect location for a low key and relaxing honeymoon. I loved being able to listen to the ocean as I fell asleep and woke each morning. The beach was steps from the condo which let us enjoy a daily beach walk. Super close to amenities and great restaurants. Check in/check out was super easy and I loved having my own personal space. Definitely will be going back if my vacation time allows.

We had an incredible time on our vacation. We traveled with an infant and a 5 year old. The set up could not have been more perfect. The condo is close to EVERYTHING! We walked to dinner twice at the back porch and it was amazing. We also did a Walmart pickup order. It’s right across the street. ITrip made our check in process a breeze. We traveled through the night to get there and they made sure everything was ready for our arrival (even if it was midnight). The view from the unit is wonderful. The pool, beach, and beach bar were all immaculate. The staff and grounds crew make sure everything is perfect. They worked so hard and were so pleasant all week. They had live music at the beach bar some evenings and waitresses who would bring you frozen drinks to the beach or pool. (Get the cheeseburger sliders...yum) One thing that stood out to me was the elevator system. I know..crazy, right!? We never waited for an elevator. The assigned parking spot (parking garage under the building) was right next to the elevator entrance). The elevator only services 3 units on each floor. I’m used to waiting forever for elevators at other resorts and this was a welcomed surprise. The whole facility is flawlessly run from the security to the cleanliness and amazing amenities. ITrip was icing on the cake. We will for sure be back!!!

This property exceeded my expectations! It was my daughter’s birthday and she loved the Devore in the room and the sparks curtains! This property has beautiful decor and the rooms are all spacious! The panoramic view adds to the luxurious feel of the condo! The patio that you can access from the bedrooms are another great touch! I highly recommend this property for a family of 4-6 people. The pool area is large and the kids really enjoyed the playground also. The beach access is very convenient and you can rent umbrellas and chairs right at the access. Overall me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit this property again soon! Thank you to the host for an amazing experience!

I wouldn't recommend this place for the following reasons. 1. The sail vacation rentals didn't give me the door code to enter into the condo but they provide me with the sliding door code. I spend couple of hours trying to contact the customer service via telephone and gave up as it was going to voicemail. Eventually the building manager opened the door for us when I showed the email from sail vacations. He mentioned that this is the only unit in the building owned by sail vacations. I really don't know what that means. 2. Once I got into the unit I managed to send an email and someone promptly responded back and send me the code. However, she mentioned to me that they send the sliding door code in my first email and door code as ---- and then they sent me another email 4 days later with a door code. It didn't make any sense to me as I never received that email. 3. We tried to forget whatever happened and enjoy our vacation. It was beautiful view from the condo. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Then next morning we start hearing loud drilling bit noises from the upstairs condo. We had no idea what was going on. So, I called the building manager. He tells me that the above unit owner is doing some upgrades to the unit since it is off season (Aug 2 - Aug 29) and during the day time (8AM-5PM). There is nothing much anyone can do about it. It is not illegal. Let me tell you the noises were so bad that i recorded it and sent it to the sail vacations customer service lady. She comes back and says that they weren't aware of it. They can't change us to another unit because they don't have one in that building remember. It is going to be too much of inconvenience. I forgot to mention, I have 72 year only mother in law and a 3 year only boy while I am going through this hell. The lady comes up with an idea. She is going to give me a gift card in the kids restaurant so that we forget all this and move on. Apparently the good side to this is that it is Friday and we should be done with this crap today. 2 nights of hell in my 4 days vacations. My recommendations anyone wanting to go to this unit. 1. Don't go during off season as per the building manager advice. You never know who wants to upgrade their unit. If you happen to go don't use the sail vacations as they don't have any other units in that building. 2. My best advice don't go here. They are other places in Destin that are worth staying.

Despite multiple emails being sent to this guest with the door access codes he unfortunately did not read the emails. So upon arrival at the resort he notified the building manager he did not have a code and was immediately given access. The building manager called to advise me he had gotten the guest and his family into the unit within five minutes of their arrival . I called the guest to make sure he and his family were settled and if they needed anything else. The guest was irritated and argued when I told him multiple emails were sent for his checkin. Rather than argue with the guest I advised him I would confirm when the checkin emails were sent and get back with him. When I told him the dates our emails were sent he responded “you’re just saying that the cover your tracks”. The following day the guest called screaming about noises coming from the unit above. He had already called the building manager who told him the upstairs unit owners were doing some renovations to their unit. The work was being done during the hours permissible 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. No work on weekends. The guest then contacted me and was livid about the noise. I told him I would be there right away. I was there within seven minutes. On my way to the building, which was less than five minutes away, I called the building manager and asked if he could inquire as to how much longer the work would continue upstairs as the guests were upset by the noise. It was Friday afternoon approximately 1:30 when we got the first call and 3:30 when the work stopped. The guest knew I was coming over and as I entered the building I could hear him yelling at his family coming out of the elevators into the lobby. He was trying to exit the back of the resort. I called out his name and his wife stopped but he kept going and ignored me. His wife called out to him and he made his way back over to my conversation with his wife. I explained that we sent someone up to check how much longer the work would continue upstairs and advised them it would end within the hour. I apologized and said we were terribly sorry for the noise but had no idea this would be going on. The owners are not obligated to notify anyone when they wish to update or work on their units. The workers assured us they would be stopping within the hour and they did. The building manager had already explained to the guest that our company managed one unit in the building and owners are not required to notify anyone when they wish to work on their units. I also explained this to the guest and he said I should have known this was happening and not booked the room. He also said it was illegal and that he had his own condo and this is not allowed. I explained to the guest that we felt bad that this happened during their stay and I would like to comp dinner for his family at a local seafood restaurant “Back Porch” steps away from the resort and that we would check on them in a couple hours to make sure everything was ok when I returned with the gift card. I did mention that the restaurant was on the beach and his son would like it. It is by no means a kids restaurant. He said nothing more so I left to arrange for the restaurant gift card. Upon returning to the unit I knocked twice and got no response from the guest but could see the shadows moving underneath the door so I knew he was there. I texted that I was trying to communicate with him could he please come to the door and knocked one last time. His mother in law and wife smiled when they ultimately answered the door. The guest eventually made his way to the front of them to speak to me. He was still extremely angry and said he paid for services and expected them and there was no excuse for all the racket and I should have known this was going on. It was our responsibility to know these things and it should not be allowed when guests are staying in the units. I tried to reason with him and said there’s no way we could have known about this as the owners can work on their units whenever they wish provided it’s within the hours permissible and I would never have been contacted in any event. I told him there would be no further work done on the unit until Monday morning and he said he was fine with that because he was leaving Monday. I asked him to please take the gift card for dinner on us. He grabbed it and threw it at my face and started screaming he didn’t want my damn gift card and to go away and get out of here. I was shocked and simply walked away. Hours later I received his apology via email and I quote, “I just saw this email. I am sorry if I had come out little too strong when you came and knocked the door. All that we wanted to do was have nice weekend in Destin. It all started off wrong with no door code from you guys yesterday and I was trying to move on today but this afternoon the loud noises in the condo started annoying the heck out of us when we were trying to sleep

Visited Destiny for a much needed couples vacation. We stayed in the St. Croix building in #405. Pleasantly surprised at the view when we opened the door. The video/ pictures of this condo doesn't do any justice until you have walked through the doors. The condo was beautifully decorated from the furniture to the attention to detail artwork and very spacious. Just enough space for 4 people to enjoy each others company and still have privacy. The views are spectacular! There are no words to describe. We are definitely looking forward to our vacation next year and will plan to reserve the same unit. We loved everything about the property, the condo and the beach.

Our stay in Destin was wayyyyy too short! Silver Shells is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed, and the St. Croix Unit was absolutely Beautiful! I couldn't have picked a better place! My husband and 2 yr old daughter and my bro/sis-in-law and their 3 yr old son had a ball in the Lagoon Pool! This is the perfect family vacation destination! We will definitely be back to Silver Shells!!
