Columbia Village Homeowners Association Rec Center Pool Rules - 2023 Welcome to your Columbia Village Pool! Use of the pool is a privilege extended to Columbia Village residents. We ask that common sense be exercised by all pool goers and that all signage and posted rules be observed. We kindly ask that all patrons be considerate and respecul towards others in the pool. Enjoy! 1. Hours of Operaon a. Pools are open Memorial Day weekend (Saturday) and will close Labor Day weekend (Monday). b. Lap pool is open through the month of September and opens at 5:00 AM while all other pools open at 10:00 AM. All pools close at 9:45 PM. c. Anyone entering the pool or pool area outside of pool hours is trespassing and will be subject to arrest. 2. Check-In Procedure and Pool Access a. The check-in and pool access procedures below will be enforced by security: i. Residents and guests are required to check-in at the rec. center office with a personal ID and their access card to enter. No Excepons. ii. Residents whose address on the ID does not match the address where they live in Columbia Village must provide addional documentaon as proof of residency such as a ulity bill. iii. Guests are limited to four per household and MUST be accompanied by a resident at all mes. 3. Please shower before entering the pool using the outside pool showers/restrooms. 4. Lap pool is for lap swimmers only. Please do not hang on lap lane lines. 5. Kiddie pool, waterfall and rectangular pools are for open use. 6. Pool are a. Only proper swimming are is allowed (no cut-off jeans, etc.) b. Children not poy-trained must wear disposable swim diapers at all mes. c. No nudity (including children). 7. The gate and doors must be shut and locked at all mes. DO NOT prop it open. 8. CVOA will not be responsible for property loss sustained by residents or their guests when using the pool. 9. Organized gatherings, including birthday pares, are not allowed in order to prevent overcrowding. Pool area cannot be used for private events. 10. Food is allowed, but no large coolers, wagons or boxes in order to prevent overcrowding. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. We encourage you to use the picnic tables outside the gate in the common area for eang meals to cut down on accidents in the pools and the pool deck area. 11. Please put chairs and furniture back where you found them, if you move them. 12. The following items and acvies are prohibited a. No glass of any kind is permied in the pool area including beverage containers and swim masks. b. Pool toys must be small and not infringe on the use of the pool by other patrons. c. No horseplay or any type of personal conduct endangering safety of self or others. No jumping or diving into the pool or flips from the side. d. No animals, other than service animals. e. No alcohol, smoking, or chewing gum. f. No furniture in any pool. g. No wheeled toys, bikes, wagons, or scooters are allowed in the pool area. Carrying skateboards is allowed. Violaon of any of the pool rules may result in suspension of pool/rec center privileges of the resident and their household. This will be done by deacvang the member's key card. A reacvaon fee, and approval will be required prior to reinstatement of privileges and access. Security Guards have the authority to clear the pools if unsafe condions occur or to remove patrons who are behaving inappropriately. The guards are given full authority to enforce all swimming pool regulaons as needed to maintain the safety of residents and guests. Appropriate behavior and cooperaon is expected by all residents and guests.

HAZARDOUS PRACTICES

No open flames ie. Candle burning is permitted on balconies or in the unit. Do not dismantle smoke detectors as they are there for your protection. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental, activation of smoke detector alarm

FALSIFIED RESERVATION

any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.

UTILITIES

No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, or telephone service. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. Please note that you may want to bring a calling card for placing long distance phone calls, as these are restricted.

ENTRY BY OWNER

Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.    Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected.
2.    All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. Please place trash bins in front of house for pickup.
3.    Close all blinds in all rooms.
4.    Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
5.    "No pets" policy must be observed, when Pets are not allowed on premises.
6.    Smoking or vaping is not allowed in the unit.
7.    Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
8.    Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state of Idaho, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of Idaho or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits.

HOLD HARMLESS

iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The undersigned Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
