Amazing Location and Spacious!
5/5 stars
The location for this house was perfect, and there was plenty of room for our group of 6. Easy walk to breakfast, and short walk or drive to the T. Also all needs are very nearby, and the downtown area was super cute. We would definitely book again!

A Witchy Good Time!
4/5 stars
Four of us so very much enjoyed our stay at RiverView!! Everything was as advertised, though I will say that as two of us had some mobility issues, having two able-bodied travelers helped with lugging the stuff up the stairs. BUT... everything was as advertised and MORE!!! And truly... the lovely "welcome gifts" in the fridge were the perfect end to a long day of traveling. :-) Totally lovely... immaculately clean. Outstanding water pressure in the shower, as well as extensive storage in the main bathroom... a necessity for four female travelers!! :-) The beds were superb, the kitchen delightful to cook in. Only thing "missing" was a blender for Midnight Margaritas, but you know what? We figured it out!!! And truly, the space was a lovely, lovely place to rest in our four days in Salem. We were all honestly surprised as how close Salem was... you can "see" it on a map, but until you actually are there it's deceptive how accessible everything is. And having the Anchor Pub just about "around the corner" was an amazing perk. The only difficulty we had was personal; we had two members of the party with mobility issues and the stairs are steep with short risers. But you know what? We made it work. The rest of the stay was so on point it really didn't matter to us. But others with mobility issues should be made aware perhaps more clearly that the apartment itself is on the second and third levels of the house. Blessedly, the main bathroom and two bedrooms are on the main level, and therefore it is easily accessible and comfortable once you're up the stairs. As we were there off season (for the Imbolc weekend), we didn't have to deal with the usual crowds in Salem around Hallowe'en. Everything was as advertised and more. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you, iTrip, for an amazing four-day witchy weekend!!!! We LOVED our stay! We LOVED RiverView!

Great Location
4/5 stars
This home is perfectly located for exploring Salem and the surrounding towns. There is a beautiful outdoor space and ample parking. The house itself is a quaint New England home. Prospective guests should be aware that the rooms and stair cases are tight and it may not be the best option for those with mobility concerns. The room on the main floor does not have a door that closes. There was some inconsistency with the cleaning crew before we checked in too. Some of the rooms were perfectly clean and some rooms had clothes left behind under the beds and in drawers. Overall this house is great for a small family or group of friends and has excellent proximity to the surrounding towns.
- Lola

Cute place and lovely area
5/5 stars
We really enjoyed our stay at Riverview. The unit was on the second and third floors of a very quaint house in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. It was so nice to walk around and down to the water. And we found a wonderful restaurant within a short walking distance. Probably the only thing to note is that there is only one full bathroom, so if you have a lot of people, especially women, that can be a challenge. On the other hand, we had a lot of space, and we also enjoyed sitting on the covered porch looking out at the water.
- Michelle

Hi Michelle, We are so happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us at Riverview and truly appreciate your feedback. We also love how close the property is to the water, nothing like getting to see the shimmer and shine of the water on a beautiful sunny day. Didn't you love how close to Salem you were? A great spot to stay when you want to go visit the spooktacular experiences Salem has to offer! We hope to see you again soon!

Girl's trip
5/5 stars
Although there were some issues when we checked in with the cleanliness, they were fixed within the day. The place was adequate for what we wanted and in a good location to everything. If you are traveling with anyone that has a problem with steps, this is not the place for you.

Close to everything
4/5 stars
The driveway is tight if you have a larger SUV/truck but we were so close to Salem, Gloucester and the Northshore Mall that we made multiple trips to each. We even walked to The Anchor for some amazing food. One evening our door code stopped working and it took 30 minutes to reach someone from iTrip to resolve it, but it was an easy fix that didn't happen again.

River View
4/5 stars
Initially were concerned about the ver poor state of the building outside. However once inside and past the hallway the interior was very pleasant and comfortable. There is a carpet stain as you cross the threshold which is a shame given the general good presentation of the accommodation. The flooring in the kitchen is a shame- it’s been improperly laid such that the wooden boards have buckled and risen. Perhaps whoever laid it could be encouraged back to sort it out! It’s become very creaky to walk on. The kitchen is bright and well stocked with cutlery, dishes and a new fridge-freezer. So great for simple self catering. The living room is comfortable and nicely furnished. The bedroom too. The utility is very handy for laundry. We didn’t need the upper rooms for our stay. There were faults in the bathroom that we reported to Liann. She responded very quickly but was only able to fix the loose wc seat. Hopefully the inoperative light, extractor fan and power socket were fixed before the next visitors arrived. Overall satisfied with the accommodation which suited our needs.

Pleasant Getaway
5/5 stars
We spent more time in the apartment than expected because some of us felt under the weather. It was a pleasant place to stay. The actual Riverview is not expansive but it was still nice to see the light on the water in the morning. It could been seen from the screened porch which was quite pleasant in the morning and evening. Using the office/laundry room as an extra common room made the downstairs feel quite spacious. It was August and hot, but the air conditioning kept the place cool. As another reviewer noted, some rooms didn't have air conditioning, so I asked the property manager for a fan. She delivered it promptly. It did help keep the whole upstairs comfortable.
- Rebecca
Nice and accommodating
4/5 stars
Liann was very kind and accommodating. The place was very full and colorful with a lot of stylish furniture. The only issue was that there was no ac in the apartment even though the listing had said there was. Liann told us this weekend was the 1st weekend of warm weather they had for the year so I understood and she was willing to come put the window ac units in for us while we were there. It would have just been nice to get a heads up.
- Timmy

Thank you for the kind compliments. Good news! AC units are installed. Let the cooling begin! :)
