Sunlight Sanctuary is not only one of our newest listings, but it is our most modern. The property was built in 2022, making the entire property and everything in it brand new. No expense was spared and the end result could not have turned out better. The interiors are stunning and immaculate featuring fantastic flooring, furniture, fixtures and finishes, as well as high ceilings and sensational natural light throughout the home.
The beautiful and very spacious, 3,266 sq ft, four bedroom, four and a half bath, single family home is spread out amongst three levels. It can comfortably sleep eleven adults (including an air mattresses) and features four en suites including three king en suites, as well as something extremely rare in Steamboat for the Summer months…. central air conditioning!
Sunlight Sanctuary is a spectacular setting for your Steamboat vacation. The panoramic mountain and Yampa Valley views from almost every room of the home are breathtaking and unforgettable. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub along with lounging and dining on the numerous decks around the property. It is located only a mile from town and less than five miles from the resort, ideally situated and tucked away in a private neighborhood on a hill, in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Enter on the main level either through the front door or the attached two car, heated garage, which provides parking as well as storage for skis, bikes and more. You will find yourself in the foyer, which offers fantastic vistas, as well as a large mud room with cubbies, shelves, hooks and a bench and provides ample storage for coats, boots and much more.
The entry hallway also offers an office with a desk, chair, incredible views and a barn door that closes it off for privacy. Combined with high speed Xfinity broadband WiFi, this makes the Sunlight Sanctuary perfect for your remote working needs. There is a powder room off of the entry hallway, which leads you to the very roomy open living area.
Kick back, relax on the comfortable sectional and take in the unbelievable panoramic views of the mountains, Yampa Valley, Sleeping Giant and more while watching a game, movie or show on the large flat screen smart TV and warming up by the gas fireplace. You will swear it is wood burning, just without the hassle or mess. There is a telescope in the living area to take in the stars, search out wildlife and more.
Cook and dine with the incredible landscapes as the backdrop. The well-designed, fully stocked, professional kitchen features brand new KitchenAid stainless appliances, including a five burner gas range, gorgeous quartz countertops, beautiful cabinetry, a large walk in pantry and everything you will need to cook a meal from small appliances, cookware, dinnerware, utensils and more.
Dining options include a fabulous table with chairs and a bench along with kitchen counter seating. There is additional outdoor seating on the deck with the aforementioned views, a gas fire pit and a gas grill.
There is a second living area downstairs that features a pool table (converts to a ping pong table), bar, dart board, another large flat screen smart tv and access to a second large deck with the private hot tub and more outdoor seating.
The four en suites are dispersed on all three levels. They all have amazing views, barn door closets and lots of drawer storage. One king en suite is secluded on its own, top floor level. It has a comfy king bed, large flat screen smart TV, vaulted ceilings and a large bathroom that includes dual vanities and a walk in shower.
Back on the middle level is the second king en suite. It has a comfy king bed, large flat screen smart tv and a large bathroom that includes dual vanities and a walk in shower.
The other two en suites are on the bottom level. One has a king bed, dual vanities and a walk in shower. The other has a full bed with twin trundle bed, flat screen tv and telescope. It is attached to a bathroom with a tub shower combo. That bathroom can also be accessed through the hallway.
The fifth bedroom has been converted to a work out room and offers a Tonal home gym and personal trainer system, state of the art work out equipment. There are also some free weights available. There is a deluxe queen air mattress that can be used in this room
There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
