The Lichenhearth Condominiums are located right at the base of Snowmass Mountain. Ski right down to the property at the end of the day. Enjoy a quick ride up on the elevator back to your condo and rest those weary ski legs in front of the wood burning fireplace. You can also relax on the outdoor patio with great views of the surrounding mountains in Snowmass. You can prepare a great dinner on the grill while you soak up that view.

**Ski access across may be limited due to snow conditions in early and late ski season.

This one-bedroom condo is ideal for a small family or a group of friends traveling together. You will find 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a queen pull-out in the living room.

Your group can enjoy breakfast together in the morning or dinner in the evening. The condo is so convenient you can even ski back for lunch! Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8" in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots.

You will find an outdoor hot tub on site. Shops, restaurants, children's ski school and the gondola and chairlifts are just next door. Take the kiddos over in the morning for their lesson and pop back over to the condo to enjoy another cup of coffee before you hit the slopes! In the evening you can saunter back to the condo after enjoying a wonderful dinner at one of Snowmass's many restaurants. Your stay at this condo will be a relaxing and enjoyable one!

Portable AC units for the bedrooms are available for rent. Limited quantity available - please check for availability before confirming your stay if AC is needed.

  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
  • All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles at check-out. If the home is left in an excessively unclean manner please note we will charge $50/hour for additional cleaning time needed after your departure.  
  • The maximum number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises are grounds for eviction.
  • Check-in time is after 4pm, may be as late as 5 or 6pm in peak winter and summer season.  Check-out time is 10am.
  • No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit with the exception of fire contained within a wood burning fireplace. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental activation of smoke detector alarm.
  • There is no daily maid service.  Additional maid service can be arranged for a fee. Please contact us in advance for pricing.  A starter supply of paper products is provided.  Any additional needed during your stay is your responsibility.
  • "No pets or emotional support animals" policy must be observed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent or damage deposit.
  • Smoking (cigarette and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the unit and on any outdoor patio or balcony. Your damage deposit will be forfeited or you will be charged a $1000 fee if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered under the insurance.  You will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.  This is also grounds for eviction.
  • Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.  Any violations will result in a fine of at least $150.  Repeated violations are grounds for eviction.
  • If your vacation rental requires a parking permit for a vehicle, this pass must be left or returned per your rental instructions, or there will be a fine of $200 per missing pass.
  • Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25). We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
  • Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
  • iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Tenant hereby acknowledges that if the premises they have reserved includes a community pool and hot tub or private hot tub and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool, hot tub and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings,Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the community pool, hot tub and patio areas.
  • Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
  • Any violation of posted rules at property that incur a fine will be the responsibility of the tenant. Examples include access outside of pool and hot tub hours, improper disposal of trash, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.  
  • By signing this agreement you agree that your rental is transient in nature and does not provide you with tenant rights.  Transient accommodations or “short term rentals” are also subject to applicable Colorado Sales, county and city taxes which are added as a part of your total payment. Should the laws change regarding applicable taxes, we will adjust your booking accordingly.  We are required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes.

Stayed in Lichenhearth for a 5 night ski trip with my teenage son. Absolutely perfect location, could just ski literally to the front door of the building in the afternoon, which itself was a very short walk to get on the Village Express lift in the morning. The unit was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very functional. This worked very well for us and will certainly return. The iTrip staff was very helpful with a few questions I had through the stay, quickly returning texts. They were accommodating with stashing my bags the first day in their office so my son and I could go shred some gnar before check in lol. A+++

This is the perfect ski-in location in the heart of Snowmass Mountain! Not only easy to get on the mountain, but also to spend time in the village. Hot tub was perfect and just a few steps away from the unit. Kitchen was well appointed to prepare breakfast each morning. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party of 3. We had a wonderful trip to Aspen/Snowmass this summer and found Lichenhearth to be an excellent location for us. It was a 2 minute walk to the shuttle gondola, close to many great restaurants and bars, and so many hiking trails nearby. The arrival and departure instructions were very easy to follow, arrival was seamless, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with every tool we could’ve wanted. Thank you for a great trip!

I loved my stay! Superb location. The space is great for 2 or 3 people. Slopes are walking distance from the apartment. The place is in great conditions. Service is great, management is very nice and helpful. I had a great experience with the iTrip staff from the very beginning until the end.

great location, very very tired unit

this is one of the best locations in Snowmass, walk out, ski in, 200 ft from treehouse and base. sadly, it has had little maintenance attention for what must be years. for a relatively small amount they could update the lighting (there is none over the main room table), the other fixtures are original from the 70's; the dishwasher is not connected to the counter and 'fallsout' whenever you open it, and there is much clutter, including old games without the pieces, readers digests from 2010, scattered tools not in a simple dollar store plastic box, etc. the heater is not attached to the wall, not sure how that meets code. the furniture is circa 1970-80 as well. i wish i owned the place and could fix it up in a weekend; the location and the pool and the parking are perfect. if you just sleep here, and enjoy Snowmass, you'll be fine.

Amazing stay and experience

My family came to Snowmass for Spring Break and we felt like we won the lottery with the condo location. It’s right beside the kids ski school and Treehouse adventure camp which our 3 year old attended each day. It’s also beside a nice hill for sledding, the parking spot was covered (amazing for the heavy snow we got) and the accommodations were perfect. We had a fire every night (they stocked the wood perfectly for us) and laundry was free. The kitchen was fully stocked for the meals I prepared. We will definitely be back!! Nice Apartment, Great Location

Great location walking distance to lifts and gondola. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. My only complaint would be that we were in a bit of a complicated situation at the time of check out because of a snow storm, I asked iTrip’s staff if they could give me suggestions about what we could do and their response was to leave as early as we could, which we did risking to get caught in the middle of the blizzard. In fact we did got stuck with nowhere to sleep half way to Denver. I think staff should be a bit more knowledgeable about what to do in these situations and offer guests different options. Just try a bit harder to be nice and helpful. The apartment is great, staff didn’t get my 5stars for that detail.

Wonderful getaway!

My husband and I had a fantastic time in Snowmass. The condo at Lichenhearth was wonderful. It was very clean, comfortable, and close to the trails we wanted to mountain bike. It was nice to have a grill and kitchen. We cooked in every meal, and had all the cooking utensils we needed. I highly recommend Lichenhearth if you are looking to stay in Snowmass.

The unit we stayed in was very nice and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic - pretty much ski in/out (you just had to walk a few feet to the entrance door). The hot tub and pool were sizeable and nice.

We had a great stay in Snowmass Village. We arrived for the tough mudder and noticed our place was steps from the start line. It couldn’t have been better. The accommodations are as described, but the location and scenery are amazing. There are plenty of shops and activities within steps of your place. The place was in a perfect location. It was clean, warm and the pool and hot tub were great. Whenever I had questions the responsiveness was impressive. The whole experience was magical! The only issue I had was that II found the beds too soft but if you like soft beds this will be perfect for you.
