The location and view were awesome. Loved having the game room, pool, hot tub and movie room. The bedrooms were great. The dryer did not work and a part needed to be ordered so we did not have it the entire week. Because of timers on the water heaters we were unable to get hot showers except for certain times. We were taking cold showers most of the time. The couches need to be replaced and also the kitchen table. We had a leaky toilet but it was repaired when we called. One of the refrigerators was missing shelves which we could have used. It could be a great place if these issues are addressed.

Nonetheless, we understand it was frustrating not to have it available. As for the water heater timers, we were able to get someone out when we were notified of the issue and got it fixed then. We're glad we could also resolve the leaky toilet issue quickly for you, and we will take a closer look at the couches and kitchen table for updates. We had a wonderful time at The Blissful Bear Lodge. Clean and spacious. 4 generations and all were happy! The only criticism would be the grandparents needed a ladder to get into the beds on the main level and kitchen wasn’t stocked for cooking with a large family. Very spacious and spectacular view.

Where do I begin? Our stay at the Blissful Bear Lodge was phenomenal. We were four families with children, celebrating Mother’s Day and a Mom's birthday. Everything about this place was beautiful—the stunning views, the luxurious accommodations, the pool, and the movie theater room. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. Everyone loved the cabin and wished we could have stayed longer, but we had to return to our normal lives. Everything was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. We encountered no issues during our stay. We hope to return in the winter to experience the splendid views once more.

We just had so much fun at the Blissful Bear Lodge!! Our family of 19 drove in from New York and Illinois to have a family reunion. Everything in the house was clean and organized and management was quick to respond to a few questions we had while there! The house was big enough giving our family the space it needed with 9 adults and 10 children. The kids love love loved the pool! At first we were slightly disappointed as there were no pool toys as shown in the photos on VRBO. But that didn't stop the kids from swimming and having a blast. Bring some pool toys just in case! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We had a 1 year old and we were able to contain him without using any baby gates. The location was perfect, a short drive to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Smokey Mountain National Park. However, during spring break there was a ton traffic and everywhere was crowded. If you go durning spring break just keep in mind that there will be crowds and traffic! We did not have any bear sightings and am I crazy to say I am kind of sad we didn't get to see any!! So many wonderful memories were made during our week at Blissful Bear and we will definitely be back!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is spacious and very clean. The view was spectacular. We had 11 adults and 2 children and had room to spare. The game room was fun and had lots of entertainment. And the pool was awesome. The water and the room temperatures were kept at a perfect temperature. The kitchen needed a few more appliances like a crock pot and baking sheets. Other than that, I will definitely rent again next year for our gathering. The only issue I had with the cabin was the 2 beds on the main floor were way too tall. As a 5 foot woman, it was challenging to get into the bed. But still, not a deal breaker.

We go on a fall trip every year with my extended family. We have been searching for our forever fall trip cabin for the past 6 years and we have finally found one in The Blissful Bear! It was clean, well kept up, and had a breathtaking view. We love this place! I like how all bedrooms were the same size with the same amenities and had the kids bunk rooms. My family was there for 5 nights. Cabin was ready by 4 pm on Sunday afternoon so that was ready on time. The cabin was very clean and everything worked like it was supposed to. The cabin is a beautiful cabin with plenty of room for large families. The view out the back was awesome. Very good cabin to stay in. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an older cabin but it is well kept. This 3 level cabin was clean and serve my large family well. The kids really loved the pool and movie room while the adults took advantage of the sitting out on the 3 decks to enjoy the views. The living room is open and spacious which was a bonus as we cooked while the rest of the fam chilled in the LR. The only issue was we had to called about 2 TVs but someone came out to address the issues. One of our highlights was seeing a bear walk past the cabin. Also, the cabin is close to town.

The cabin is wonderful and yes it felt very clean on check-in. Loved that everything was ready and it was a fuss-free check-in and out. Thank you for responding to the two small maintenance issues we noted and hope they are quick fixes before the next guests. As others have mentioned no air in the pool area and the windows are locked. It could feel very warm in there and I can't imagine later in the summer! The house was well stocked, the only item we needed and didn't have was a pizza cutter. My kids are older now but I loved the stools to help them reach the sink and would have been so excited to see those when they were younger. I would recommend mentioning bringing your own pool towels in the listing. We did and I saw it on the check-in email but if it is a big group not everyone might get the message. This was an excellent property and I would recommend it to anyone for their trip!

We brought a group of ladies from our church to Pigeon Forge to attend the 2023 Women of Joy Conference. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the views were amazing! GPS did try to bring us in the wrong way, but after a quick phone call with the office, they were very quick to help us find an easy way to get a bus to the top of the mountain! We even saw a bear! The pool was very warm, as it felt like the hot tub! It was wonderful. The bedding wasn't the most comfortable but was adequate. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is located in a community with other cabin rentals so you do have neighbors when you step out on your balconies, luckily we had some good quiet neighbors during our stay. The views are gorgeous on all three balconies. There is a grill and a picnic table to enjoy a good cookout dinner. The kitchen is stocked really well but you may want to wash anything you use beforehand, some utensils were still dirty. The hot tub was cool at night when it lit up in different colors. There is plenty to do in the house for all age groups. If you’re traveling with a young one I would suggest a baby gate for the stairs leading down to the lower area where the pool, theatre and games are. The theatre was really cool! The pool table needs to be cleaned, it had an lot of dust and debris along the edges and the pool had quite a few thousand leggers in it daily but our teenage boys and even the adults got a lot of use out of it all. There was a golf ball sized hole at the bottom of the wall next to the pool door that needs to be fixed. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. There are no curtains in any of the rooms so if you like a dark room bring a blackout blanket or the paper shades you can stick to the windows and remove, that’s what we did and that helped a lot. We stayed in the wolf themed room upstairs and the fire alarm is directly over the bed and it blinked a bright green light all night long which was aggravating to my fiancé who slept under it. The rooms can get a little toasty upstairs since the thermostat only allows the air to be set at 69 so we kept the ceiling fans going and we all brought fans luckily. The property owners have good communication for the most part. We informed them about a busted tv that we discovered in one of the rooms from previous renters and was told they would bring us another tv the next day but they didn’t show or inform me that they weren’t coming and when I asked about it they took a long time to respond and informed me then that they had ordered one and it was running late. They did show up the following day after that with a new tv. Overall it was a great stay. The only negative things I can say is that the kitchen cabinets need to be fixed or replaced at the bottom under the sink because they don’t close properly, it was very hot upon arrival because the thermostat has to be set to 72 when you leave so it took hours to cool the upstairs and we could not get the front door or pool door to lock with the code provided to us when we left out for the day or upon checkout so I had to call and inform them and I was told to leave it unlocked and they would let maintenance know so hopefully that issue got fixed. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again myself. While your there check out a cool spot down the road that has ice cream bars, beer, corn hole, picnic tables, fire pits, a creek to play in and a beautiful waterfall. As you leave the community turn right and it’s just down the street on the right.

We had a group of 15 for a birthday party weekend for my daughter and had a great time. The cabin is exactly as pictured, if not better, and communication from iTrip was excellent. Plenty of room with 3 levels, and the lower level with the theater room, game room, indoor pool, and hot tub was the favorite area. We even had a raccoon on the lower level deck looking at us through the window. Beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had was not being able to put a DIRECTV app on the tv to stream the Vols basketball game, but we put it on an iPad and cast it to the tv with no problems. Cell service was spotty due to the mountains but WiFi was great. If you need a lot of space and plenty of things to do then this is the cabin for you. Would not hesitate to stay again. Excellent property. Very clean and spacious for our group of 16. If there is one flaw it’s the dining room table. The surface of the table needs refinished. We covered with a table cloth and it was fine. We even had a mama bear and 2 cubs in the distance.

After being notified of a problem air conditioner, Management worked diligently to remedy the situation in a timely manner, Blissful Bear was a delightful place for a family reunion. Accommodations were very good - exception being high beds on main level. It was a bit difficult for seniors who cannot otherwise climb stairs, especially with the log side rails, but it was manageable. The views were incredible, especially at night watching the lights on mountains across the way. Beautiful entrance to the community; well maintained streets. Recommend this!

The overall experience was great! The house was very clean and spacious. The emails do advise you of needing to replace paper products once gone, but we didn’t expect to only have 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Make sure you have it on your initial grocery store list! The water pressure was hit or miss during our stay. Customer service did promptly send a maintenance man to fix it, but it was still not as expected for a 6 bedroom home. The other issue we had was a leaky roof and doors during a rainstorm. Luckily we didn’t have any of our belongings in the path of the water. The views from the back decks were absolutely stunning.

Blissful Bear was absolutely perfect in every way! We had 14 family members stay here from age 4 to 67, there was something for everyone! This cabin was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, the pool was clean and everything worked. We didn't have to call management for anything except to pick up our trash when the cans were full, they came right away to get it. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin, we had 17 people which included 7 kids. Plenty of room for the family. Had a few issues that disappointed us, first they were there at the cabin when we arrived trying to fix the air conditioning in the swimming pool area. They had to wait for a chip to come in, which never arrived during our stay. So very hot swimming. There were 3 tvs that wouldn’t work, I reported this and they said someone would come fix them but that never happened. The grill wouldn’t work, they sent someone to look at it and he said we needed a new grill, we were never able to grill out. That was disappointing.

We had a great family vacation and really enjoyed the cabin. The cabin met everyone of our expectations. Prior to our booking we confirmed that there was a community pool, however there is not, and a few family members were disappointed. The indoor pool was enjoyed and larger than anticipated. Any small request we had during our week stay was immediately taken care of. We were very surprised to find out upon arrival that there were two refrigerators which accommodated our family of fifteen. The grill is the only thing that should be replaced as the burners and grill grates are shot. Also the directions (even from Google Maps) are incorrect.

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful cabin and was thrilled at seeing our first bear close up as it crossed the road in front of us, Our family was there for a gathering and room was plentiful for all to socialize and visit with each other, as well as playing billiards and swimming in the pool.

I rented this cabin to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. This place is great. It is so peaceful and kid friendly. It far exceeded my expectations. The location is close to pigeon forge where there is plenty of things to do. The only thing I regret is not having enough time to enjoy the house as well as all the activities near by. I had no problems with the cabin at all

The Blissful Bear cabin was a very accommodating venue for our family reunion. We enjoyed the indoor pool, theater room, electronic games, and the beautiful mountain views. That being said, there are issues the owner should address for this to be considered a premier venue and to support the rent being charged. Many of these issues have been shared with ITrip, along with photographs. These issues include: 1. The refrigerator’s ice maker does not work and one shelf is supported with several pieces of duct tape and another with a piece of wood. 2. HVAC air filter was completely clogged and upon calling ITrip a maintenance person replaced it. 3. The wood step into the pool area is slippery when wet and one guest slipped and had a bad fall. This step needs to be resurfaced with an abrasive material. 4. Water leak from the roof that entered the Wolf room’s closet ceiling, and I immediately notified you of this damage. 5. Significant dent in the stainless-steel panel of the dishwasher. 5. Veneer on the dining room table has peeled badly making it look terrible and difficult to clean, and both benches are broken. 6. Electric mixer in the kitchen does not work nor do the two manual can openers. 7. The pool toy equipment balls are flat and the water basketball stand leaks making it useless. If you intend to provide these items, they should be in good working condition. 8. The dining room smoke detector is dislodged from the ceiling and likely in-operable. 9. Indian room toilet seat was extremely loose which made it necessary for me to repair before it could be used. Also, various other bathroom accessories in the cabin are loose. 10. I agree with the October 2020 reviewer who stated there needs to be a guide to use the televisions. This has not been provided. 11. General housekeeping is lacking as the ceiling fans were very dirty and the floors had a dirt film making our socks black. In closing, it is understood that damage will occur over time by various guests; however, as indicated by the number of issues, more should be done.

The cabin was extremely large and well structured to allow privacy but also gathering in the main spaces! The views this cabin leaves you with are hard to explain! Amazing! The cabin was full of functional items in the kitchen that helped make meals easy to prepare! I would recommend adding a griddle or larger pan for breakfast! We loved the arcade downstairs! The floors were filthy and left most of our bare feet extremely dirty! The swimming pool was a little green and full of dead centipedes! We called iTrip and got someone out ASAP to clean it and spray for the bugs. They immediately responded and took care of the issues. Overall, I would recommend this place if the the few cleaning issues get resolved with the cleaning crew.

The Cabin itself was perfect. We had 7 people in our group and as the cabin slept 24 it was more than spacious. The family room and kitchen were very big. Able to entertain our whole group easily. The game room, theatre room and pool were fantastic. Everything was decorated very nicely. While we did encounter a couple minor issues, a phone call was placed and they were both quickly resolved. We were very pleased with the emergency/customer service.

We loved the cabin, however on our second day the pool was looking cloudy and began to smell, on the 4th day we just shut the door and locked it so the kids could not go in there, it stunk so bad, like an old pond, very disappointed with the pool maintenance, especially upset for the kids.

Really nice, clean facilities. Good layout for activities and sleeping. Well placed for access to towns and shows. Complaints: dishwasher was leaking, was reported, repairman came but did not have part so he said he would come the next day--did not come. No hot water in shower in one of the upstairs bedrooms--sink had hot water. Biggest complaint--you have said in your basic information that you do not want customers younger than 25--you also need to say that you do not want customers over 75. Most people over 75 have problems climbing steps so they want to stay on ground floor. Both rooms on the ground floor had beds that were almost impossible to get into. (Our pregnant daughter-in-law stayed in the other ground floor bedroom, and she had a hard time getting into the bed, also.) They were too high--then the log around them created even more of a problem. My husband and I are 82 years old with rheumatoid arthritis and Parkinson's disease. We gave this trip as a Christmas gift to our children and grandchildren but we hoped to enjoy not only their company, but also the facilities. Please, either warn older folk not to come or change the bed!!!!!!!!

The cabin had ample space in every room even the bathrooms. The cabin was very impressively decorated and furnished. The inclosed swimming pool area was awesome (clean & spacious, plenty of towels & noodles and even a ball & net for water volleyball!) The theater room...nice... spacious comfortable The three levels of porches with plenty of rocking chairs was great for relaxing (right on time) The game room was spacious with plenty of games and a pool table. We had loads of fun in the game room.The Jacuzzi was very, very nice with the changing color water was the cleanest I've ever been in.Most utensils needed were thereAmple parking was a plus.Most of all, the view was S P E C T A C U L A R !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!COMMENTS_Safety grip bars in the showers would be saferThe beds were very comfortable but the first floor level beds were very high up off the floor (hard to climb in) a stepping stool would be a courtesy and appreciated by visitors to the cabin.The cabin was clean but I did notice that the stairs needed sweepingThe cabin has a iron but no ironing boardWe had a great time there and loved the cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay here; the amenities were amazing and the check in and out process was simple and convenient. The pool was so much bigger than other in cabin pools (and I’ve stayed in a few Gatlinburg pool cabins). It was really cool that they had a thermostat that controlled each level of the house. The ticket package was also a pretty sweet deal, considering it is included in the price of the cabin. We were extremely happy with it and can’t wait to visit next year!

The house was very nice. The dishwasher leaked. Poor tv service. No trash pick up. We had to stack trash on top of cans and we came out of the house and had 3 bears in it, very scary! They were building more cabins and you couldnt drive down the mountain for there trucks, vans and concrete trucks, very congested, nails left in the roads. Woke up us and our kids every morning at 7am beating and banging.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this rental. We visited the Smokey Mountains and were disappointed that we didn’t get to spend more time in the cabin. Next time we definitely plan on staying a longer time so we can truly enjoy all that the cabin has to offer.

Great cabin to rent! Very new! Bedrooms were great and loved how each bedroom had a theme. There were plenty of plates, cups and silverware for a large group. The only problem was that there were only 2 locked bear proof garbage bins and those were full by mid week. For a 6 bedroom house, really need a mid-week garbage pick up or more garbage cans. We did experience a problem with the TV in the family room and the management company sent someone out within hours to fix it. Movie theater was great and you could connect to your amazon prime/netflix account for movies. Each room had a TV with Roku and the remotes were smartly labeled for each room so they wouldn't get confused. We enjoyed the pool and the game room. Loved the old school multi game arcade and the Golden Tee plus the air hockey table got a lot of use. Overall a great cabin and we'd rent from here again!

The view was amazing!! It was the perfect place for a family getaway. It's 15 minutes away from the Pigeon Forge attractions. We all enjoyed the game room, video games, pool and all the other amenities. We had a big group and everyone enjoyed out time there. The cabin was epic and looking forward to the next stay!
