A unique opportunity to rent a beautifully maintained 4-bedroom older home in Seattle’s Central District minutes from Downtown Seattle, Seattle University, and Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill.

This comfortable 4BR home is wonderful for families and friends coming in for that special event, wanting to take in the amazing food and activities of Seattle or adventure out of the city to ski or hike. This home is in a quiet centrally located urban neighborhood with a Walk Score of 95.

There is a sense of calm as you walk through the front door. We are excited to offer this home as a full house rental especially since the Central District rarely has properties that are larger than 2 bedrooms. Past guests of Spring Street Center may remember the high marks for cleanliness and prompt communication when it was rented by the room so we are thrilled that the same cleaning team will continue to caretake the property as a full home rental.

Additional Comments:

This home has a private entrance, but is attached to the Subud spiritual community's Chapel and meeting hall. Subud had small group meetings on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am -12:30pm, Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm (downstairs hall - no access to the shared bathroom) and on Saturday and Sunday mornings 9:30am -1:30pm. Please be aware that the only shared space during the Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday morning services is the main floor bathroom.

NOTE: As long as the kitchen door remains locked, there is no access to the home. Rental Guests can choose to maintain privacy at all times by not using the main floor bathroom.

The location:

Located only 1.1 miles from downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood with a park and playground across the street and close to wonderful restaurants and easy access to grocery stores. People love our house and its charm and energy!

Keyless entry with customized codes for each rental guest

We provide customized electronic door codes for the front door for each rental guest and members never have access during rental reservations. We have locked the shared interior doors that overlap with the spiritual center with the goal of protecting the privacy of the rental guest. There is also a double sided deadbolt lock on the door in the family room so there is never shared access and no member has this key.

There is a keyed lock from the kitchen to the shared hallway to allow for OPTIONAL use of the laundry room and downstairs bathroom during non-spiritual meeting times. If the front door and kitchen door are locked, there will be no shared space. The home will be private with no member access.

* Non smoking residence and No pets (a $250 incremental cleaning fee will be applied for any pets discovered PLUS additional costs for any damages caused by the pet)

* No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.

* If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions! Noise monitoring equipment is installed + front door camera

* This property sleeps 8 people!!! If we determine you have more than 8 people, we will charge a fee of $100 per person, per night.

Day of Departure:
​- Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected.
- Please do NOT take off the sheets and leave the beds unmade 
- All dirty towels should be placed on the bathroom floor
- All dirty dishes should be placed in the dishwasher
- Trash & recycling should be put into the labeled cans in the driveway
NOTE: Guests can have items returned for a $20 fee plus shipping.

​​SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES
Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the listings advertised guests, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right for quiet enjoyment of their premises. Exterior cameras can be located at the front and back doors.
NOISE
No PARTIES allowed. Violations of our noise rules or maximum number of guests agreed to at the time of booking will result in possible fines or immediate eviction with all loss of all rents.Depending on severity, we may call and issue a warning or proceed with a $300 fine. If we cannot reach the guest that booked the property someone will show up to the property and issue a minimum $300 fine and/or evict the entire group immediately. Any delay will result in us involving the authorities that could result in eviction, loss of all rents, and additional fines or damages after removal. Party monitoring equipment can be used in this home (no confidential information is collected).
ABSOLUTELY NO PETS
If evidence of a pet(s) is found on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent or damage deposit plus $200 extra cleaning fee and any damage as a result of the pet.
RENTAL AGE REQUIREMENT 
Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 years of age! 
HOUSEKEEPING
There is no daily maid service. Linens and towels (plus black make-up washcloths) are included and are not to be taken from the home (fees will charged for missing or make-up damaged towels). An initial setup is provided of trash liners, paper towels, toilet paper, soap/shampoo/conditioner and light cleaning supplies. NOTE: No glitter/confetti is to be used here. Expect extra cleaning fees to be added of at least $300.00.
NONSMOKING HOME
Smoking is strictly prohibited. Your damage deposit will be forfeited and you will incur an additional charge of $500 for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.
No open flames (ie. Candle burning is NOT permitted in the home). Do not dismantle smoke detectors as they are there for your protection. 
UTILITIES
No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, and water. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored quickly. 
ENTRY BY OWNER
Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises if there is an emergency or there are necessary repairs. TENANT will be notified in non-emergency situations.
