The charming historic Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. A quick drive to many local attractions such as the Oregon Dunes and beaches, The famous Sea Lion caves, The historic Heceta Lighthouse, nearby Woahink and Siltcoos Lakes for fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Paddle the slow moving 3 mile designated canoe trail between Siltcoos Lake and the Pacific Ocean.Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force the crabs out to the ocean.

This was a fantastic property with everything you need for an amazing stay and more. It was clean, comfortable beds and couch, great neighborhood, within walking distance to old town and a lovely park. The host went above and beyond with all the little touches. My dogs and I had the most perfect time, I was super sad to have to leave! I wish I had booked us in for longer!!

I was so excited to stay at this beautiful home, and it completely met my expectations! The decor is absolutely charming, with a lovely feminine touch that made it feel so special. I celebrated my birthday here, and it was the perfect setting for such a memorable occasion. The location is ideal, with so many fun places to explore in Florence just a short distance away. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights. My friend had a great time discovering the cozy upstairs area, which added a fun sense of adventure to our stay. The house was spotless upon our arrival, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in preparing it for our visit. I would highly recommend this home for any birthday celebration or getaway to the coast. It’s a gem!

Great location to old town Florence. Great that it is pet friendly and had a wonderful backyard. Beds are comfy. Hot tub was great! Very clean all around.

Very quaint and private cottage, perfect for a couple who don’t need much space but want to be cozy. Nice quiet neighborhood, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Decor is very cute and homey, the beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. Sleeping 4 adults might be a challenge, but if you’re a couple with some little ones they would love the loft area. The backyard where the hot tub is feels very private, for my personal preference though the hot tub does not get hot, it’s more of a very warm tub. Great little place overall, though some of the hidden fees I ended up with possibly because of booking it through a third party made it pretty over priced. I booked the home through vrbo where the price per night was $144, and I expected taxes and a service fee. After the “host fee” was added, plus taxes, it ended up to be about $325 per night. So don’t be fooled by the low sticker price!

Completely happy with our stay at this lovely little chalet! We felt like we were at home! Beds were very comfy, our host offered everything that we could have possibly needed! We arrived after midnight due to flight delays, but was greeted with lights on in this cute little pink home. Neighborhood felt safe, and the hot tub was a bonus! Don’t pass up this little gem on your next visit to the Florence area!

The small cottage ambience of chalet Rose` was delightful for our vacation stay in Florence. Great place to "come home to" after a day's adventure golfing, hiking, fishing and exploring beaches. Easy access to all these activities. And perhaps the best part, was then walking through the neighborhood to Bay Street for cocktails and dinner and even wine tasting and a little shopping.
